True Crime Fans / True Crime Influencers / True Crime Community / #TCC / #actually necro / CrowdSolving - Shipping killers, profiting off the dead, necrophiles, and so much more!
I recently saw a case where a young white girl and black boy were killed in the woods and everyone was saying how it has to be racist rednecks. Turns out it was another nigger who shot them.
The series they did about the plague was my favorite.
Yeah the history episodes are probably my favorite ones, along with the cult and cryptid episodes. Those three guys were at their absolute funniest when they were on roundtable of gentleman though. Surprised they haven't all been cancelled for openly saying nigger and tranny like 10 years ago.
True crime mukbang, goddamn, every time I feel I can't be surprised anymore- life throws me another one.
And people who unironically proclaim "love" for a serial killer (thats obviously not love, but traumas, sitting in the subconcuious, taking reigns of the decision making) are the most outright dangerous. How could you not be suspicious of a person who says (s)he "loves" someone who killed people for pleasure?
You know, I wonder if there is any scientific backgroud for the "crowd solving". Yeah, it does sound like a grift to make money, but could it actually work in principle somehow? To draw parallels- the missing children milk cartons programm in USA was almost utterly useless. BUT. There is one well documented case of a kidnapped child being saved 2-3 years after the kidnapping directly because of the carton pic- ex-husband stole son he had with his ex-wife and laid low for 2 or 3 years, all the while bullshitting the child. And one day, while in a supermarket, that child saw his photo on the milk catron and got very interested in what it means. So does this one case make it worthwhile? Same with crowd solving IF it has any chance of doing something- maybe it's not all bad. But probably a grif.
This thread hits fucking hard and home for me. I used to be a TCC writer, it took someone in my wider sphere committing a mass shooting in May before I woke up to how deep I'd fallen into this hole.
The absolute fucking hoops some of these people go through to try and excuse their actions and excuse their way of thinking is sickening. I've had kids as young as 12 tell me how much they admire people like Eric Harris, and then deny that's a bad thing because "he has some good ideas". Many of the 20ish year olds that are currently part of this absolute farce have been obsessing over it since they were around 13.

Imagine being murdered in a rather gruesome manner, only to have some glutton talk about it in great detail while shovelling a disgusting amount of cheese burgers down their gullet
Last Podcast On The Left is entertaining. They don't take themselves seriously at all though and they cover a lot of other stuff that isn't true crime.
They're my main window into this subsection of internet creep(and their endless unofficial facebook and instagram groups discussing them & the content, since they refuse to maintain an official fanspot). Their audience is proof of the sprawling overlap in true crime fans' other interests and the difficulty of their disambiguation. I feel like this thread could thrive on multiple, semi-related finds of crazies in true crime fandom, but trying to untangle and separate them into different threads prior to page 50 would kill it.

Having moved to LA and rolling in the patreon/tie-in products/merch and live show money, they now regularly suck up to trannies and idpol out of the sides of their mouths to pay protection lip service to the cancellation mob. It's just observable business rules that have worked, so they they do it too. I've tried some of their side podcasts in the Network, and Wizard & the Bruiser is almost impossible to listen to with how much they spew leftist talking points in the face of the subject(whining about Mineta's pervy behavior in My Hero Academia or how H.P. Lovecraft was racist). Holden McNeely is a true blight on the boys.

What was the appeal to the shooters in general? Do they all really feel a connection towards them?
Sorry for the double post, but I did some more digging on true crime in general this time around. Listened to @Gef Mongoose and looked into Websleuths.
Shooter are powerless worthless pathetic loosers in 95% of the cases.
"Fans" identify to this.
But for a few fleeting seconds/minutes Shooters wield absolute power(life and death) over everyone in their vicinity due to being armed.
I think that's appeal they find with shooters.
They don't admire the shooters themself as people. They admire who they were and their power on that fatefull day.

Sadie is a single mom in here 40s obsessed with clout and fame. Following the trend of crime scene cleaners, Sadie is an especially interesting one because she will do anything for clout, including showing off the remnants of a deceased person on TikTok for views.
She likes to advertise her business, Sadie’s Pro Cleaning (located in New Haven, CT and Fort Myers, FL where she lives), posting the videos along with shitty rap songs.
Saddie, being that fat single mom she is, can’t just post the left overs of Little Suzie after a Chris Benoit special, she has to make it about herself.
Sadie is fat and I would not have sex with her.
She prioritizes wealth over human decency as well, having no problems posting her new cars and motivational speeches over suicide victim clean ups. ABCDE
(Links to Facebook videos I didn’t feel like downloading)
Sadie will praise God for all the wonderful things she has been given, before immediately spitting in his face in favor of greed, pride, and clout.
Question for lawyers- is this legal? This lack of respect towards human remains? One of my uncles is an archeologist by profession and he told me that they are expected to treat the human remains they find with respect- no matter how old they are.

I remember when Holdens comedic character was him being a disgusting weirdo that wanted to fuck his own mother. Somehow that was less gross than who he is now.

I strongly suspect that the exploitation is the price of the cleanup. The family is skint and in their darkest hour with their former loved one in literal pieces all over the floor; along comes celebrity cleaner! For the low, low price of your loved one's last shreds of dignity on this earth, the celebrity cleaner will clean away the mess, free of charge... so long as your family doesn't mind the celebrity cleaner taking a few photos here and there...
... in other words, the TikTok crew is preying on poor people who can't afford to fund a professional clean up themselves.
the main appeal is the fact they did something about their shitty lives. a lot of the newcomers into the community are kiddy troons, wanting a darker community to follow than the usual trans ones. trans people, especially teenage ones, either massively sexualise themselves or infantalise themselves. there's a large community of kids trooning out that don't want either of those options but don't want to just be normal. so they fall in with the tcc.
randy stair has been the choice since his shooting. i remember his shooting very vividly because of the almost instant discussion he'd done it to become ember mclain. someone who's now one of my closest friends trooned out after his shooting. eric harris is still very popular, no one gives a shit about dylan. same reason no one gives a shit about the brony shooter. they were ugly. brenda spencer is the choice of people who want to pretend to be lesbians.

The whole community has been hijacked by SJWs so any case where a black or brown guy is the perpetrator of the crime gets called a “miscarriage of justice” and gets rewritten as a crime carried out by a white guy.
The intersection between True Crime enjoyers, teenagers, transgenders, political extremists, people with eating disorders, people with mental illnesses and people with weird paraphilias is so large that the TCC looks like lolcowdom (or lolcowness?) at its fullest. Truly a Kiwi wettest dream.
Come to think of it, I wonder if these people know about Maudsley's beef with Charles Bronson. They'd probably call them both tsunderes and secretly in love or something.
