Seems like a pretty high IQ dude and good info. Also it would explain why Azov "nationalist" "nazis" seemed to have no problems with killing other ethnic Rus/Eastern Slavs from 2014 on if many are indeed not Slavs at all but Chechens (also the foreigner tourist contingent from Sweden/Finland/The Baltics)

That's the thing, if the Ukrainian government actually were an approximation of a real nationalist government, i.e one that wasn't beholden to Russia or the United States, that would be something worth supporting. But all Ukraine has done politically with Maidan is going from a "flopflopper" under Kuchma and Yanukovich, taking advantage of it's position for gibs to just being an American tool.

And yes, like he mentioned Azov and Right Sector/Svoboda have had themselves attempted to be absorbed/destroyed by the Ukrainian government several times, but they still have the delusion that one day they will hold power in Ukraine or what remains of it after the war, as if their American masters would ever allow that.
Part of the reason for this is because after Maidan Ukraine was out of the Russian Club but not really in the American club. Of course they were going to flail around like a fish out of water. They were caught between two fires. Russia's decision to invade pretty much fixed this issue though.

Bullshit, this was an American gayop from day 1, you're really trying to pretend otherwise after the evidence has been public for six years, some of it for eight years?

Azov/Right Sector types was happy to serve American interests if it meant they could get their war with the separatists and emerge (at least, they planned too) emerge as the leaders of a new Ukraine. There's interviews describing how US agents and diplomats instructed them during the Maidan protests, they were most of the violent agitation on the protestors side and without them it would have been "a gay parade".

Btw, investigations I think either in the US or Ukraine finished a few weeks ago confirming protestors in 2014 were shot and killed by snipers firing from concealed positions.

I don't want to give the US government credit for orchestrating the most catastrophic body blow to Russian power since World War 1.

Don’t worry the same government fucked up with Fast and Furious so it is a wash.

Oh yeah Obama also said he was gonna make sure the telecoms would be held responsible for cooperating with spying on the public then flipped on it.

How on earth does THIS guy have one of the more reasonable assessments of the situation!? 🤡🌏

A pretty fair analysis on the Russian targeting of power infrastructure, it's effects on civilians and evidence that it's done deliberately against the civilian population to demoralize them in this interview.

Because he's not ashamed of who he is. Western pundits have to lie about the situation and factions involved to make Ukranians "good guys". Doesn't matter that Ukranians are a mix of ordinary people who just want peace, pro-Russian separatists, ultra-nationalists who want to 'purify' their nation of Russian speakers and culture, corrupt oligarchs and destitute poor - the narrative has to be "Ukranians = Good Guys". Anything further invites closer looks. This guy isn't out to curry favour with the general electorate or other national leaders, he can just speak things as they are. His take isn't so much "reasonable" as it is honest. It's actually kind of funny switching gears when you debate this stuff with such people. Being used to debating it with US leftists I remarked in a debate with a Polish dude I met one night that [Ukrainian groups] were "ultranationalists". Something that sends American Leftists into fits of denial and laughable attempts to disprove it. Polish dude just replied "What's wrong with that? Ultranationalism is a good thing".

I mean, I was able to make the case that it was a bad thing when it meant exterminating and bombing people who you'd just drawn a border on a map around and declared it was land for your pure race", but it was a funny rug-pull moment to find myself debating with someone other than a US liberal, neocon or US imperialist for a change. Weirdly it's harder in some ways because you can't just point out the lies or hypocrisy. You have to revert back to first principles and make the case that ethnic cleansing and subverting democracy is wrong. An opinion they don't necessarily share.

I don’t have a horse in this race really because who wins does not really affect me
Do you live on Mars? No man is an island and all that but seriously - there are knock on effects from all of this.

Any links on this?

Fuck Erebus!

Honestly it obviously has small ripple effects on me but overall compared to an actual Ukrainian or Russian saying it effects me feels like saying I survived 9/11. Everything that happens effects me but that doesn’t mean it does very much. Yes prices went up but so did my income so it kinda evened out on balance. And I don’t have babies so the formula thing didn’t matter. The woke shit is more annoying honestly and Russia winning won’t really change that.

Another thing that’s overlooked: the target isn’t hated enough.

Didn’t Putin indirectly say the West destroyed the pipelines, specifically Anglo-Saxons (which I can only assume means Americans and the British)?
Putin directly said it was the British doing the USA's dirty work.

Take these articles with a grain of salt as its all I could be bothered to quickly find with a quick google search but I remember there was some controversy after Nordstream 2 was blown up around hacked messages from the UK PM, Liz Truss', phone to Biden saying "It's done" immediately after the pipeline was destroyed. The fact that the BBC, which certainly isn't pro-Russia and indeed a mouthpiece for the British establishment had to comment on it says a lot.

On top of that Sweden & Denmark both made investigations into the sabotage and concluded the damage was done by explosions and then suddenly clamped up and are refusing to elaborate any further. Why would they do that if it was Russia?

And let's not forget Biden has literally put out a statement that if Russia invaded Ukraine he wouldn't allow Nordstream to go ahead.

It's all circumstantial and hearsay but it's also all pointed in one direction and there doesn't seem to be any pointing at Russia other than "madman Putler fucked himself over to own the West".

geez, no wonder men are GTFO of Ukraine, if they are not being sent on suicide missions with no proper weapons and support, they are being left out to die when injured in front of their comrades

Am I retarded or do the blast from these drone-dropped grenades seem rather puny and impotent? I could be wrong and these could be completely devastating, but after seeing that Russian soldier pick up and throw 3 of these away, idk.

Thanks. I didn’t remember the details, but I do know it was used by some to paint Putin as “the good guy for the world” in this whole conflict.

Say what you will about Russia's military blunders, but this whole thing has been nothing but extremely ballsy, and the reason so many people are sympathetic with Russia is because of how much self-determination and cojones they are displaying by standing up to the West.
It also shows that there never really was a serious "Cold War" or a significant "Nuclear threat". Apparently the Soviet Union was a reliable supplier of oil and gas for decades. The real fun only starts now. The cold war is yet to come.

You cannot seriously believe this. The entire story from Team Z when this started was that it would be effectively over in 2 weeks and done completely in a month. The absolute arrogance and retarded level of assumptions on the part of Russian policy makers and the military were completely off base.

They were not Ballsy. They were just stupid.

They can't call the debt because they know it can't be paid and they can't stop lending because they've built their house on the foundation of America's debt. It's fucking genius. Even if/when it all implodes, America still has the proverbial gun and can use that to take the bag of money that gets thrown out of the tumbling car.
there is no "calling the debt" in general
these loans are set up in advance with clearly defined repayment schedules (you pay the bank X dollars every Y months and then the whole loan will have been repaid after Z years) and governments follow these schedules to the letter, with more reliability than pretty much anybody else you can lend money to, which is why all the banks LOVE to loan money to the state, and why the state can usually get loans at lower interest than private entities can. a state has a lower risk of default than any other type of customer, especially if it's a state with its own currency, which the US is. when push comes to shove, the government can and will simply print the money that it needs to service its debt obligations.

i fucking detest government debt in general, because i think that it's a hidden driver of taxation increase and a long term burden on the productive citizens of the country, but that's a matter of principle, not an acute threat or danger (unless you live in argentina or greece lmao)

Can you point me towards someone saying that this was gonna be over in 2 weeks and done completely in a month?
Only western sources mentioned this, the same sources saying back in april Russia ran out of ammo, weapons, tanks, oil, money and ideas

Seems obvious what happened and you can make arguments for or against it but the problem is that people are so invested in their "team" they won't admit anything that could possibly paint their side in a negative light or paint the other side in a positive light. I'll admit I'm slightly pro-Russia but I'll admit when they're in the wrong (they've fucked up a LOT and continue to do so) because I'm not hopelessly invested in creating a narrative. I also understand most Ukrainians are just fighting for their country and are good people. Most people in this war aren't Azov Battalion or Wagner Group psychopaths, most are conscripted men fighting to live another day, protect their homes or because they're told to.

I think the reasonable position on this is it was definitely some kind of Anglo-American op but from their point of view it was justified and a means to an end. On the other hand it was also underhanded, unlawful and done without the knowledge or consent of their allies in Europe and it put them in a difficult position. None of this makes Putin a hero or the West evil and its retarded to think that way but sadly you're right about people spinning narratives around it.
