2 weeks, 15 weeks, a year, who gives a shit what Russia had planned for the their little special military operation, it has clearly gotten way bigger than they wanted it to be and now are stuck in a war that they weren't anticipating. Ukraine has shown that it is capable of self defense and Russia has shown that it has not an army that can oppose any other major power. Embarrassing shit for Russia and another reason to be a doomer if your an anti-globohomo kind of kiwi.

Man, that conversation with someone asking for a quote that the invasion would last a month at most and receiving some completely random ass red herring of a response was truly something, almost as entertaining as some actual happenings in the war.

edit: AHHHHH THEY'RE STILL SNEEDING ABOUT AMMUNITION.

You know what's funnier? Everyone thinks Putin is this mac daddy chad, fighting for various things for everyone who doesn't agree with the US State Department, when all Putin wants is for Ukraine to not have what he sees as being an attack dog and an enemy at the gates, and for pro Russia regions to be able to thrive in his sphere of influence.
I agree, my problem is that in this case at least the people who are pro-Ukraine won't admit it's even a possibility NATO members may have done this because it'd make their "team" look bad. I'm not saying this doesn't go both ways as well, I lean toward Russia in this but I think they have fucked up badly multiple times and groups like Wagner are nothing more than psychopaths for pay but I can admit that because I haven't fully bought into a narrative like some people have.

I think the reasonable position is the Nordstream sabotage was almost certainly Anglo-American ops, it was illegal and fucked their allies over but to them it was completely justified and they felt it was necessary for whatever reason. Admitting this doesn't suddenly make Putin a hero but people have picked their sides in this so they can't even entertain this.

This is going off on a tangent but it gets me when I see people gleefully posting about soldiers of either side being killed, maimed or tortured. Politics aside, the majority of these guys are conscripts either fighting because they're defending their country (Ukrainians), they feel they're an unrepresented minority or are liberating said minority (seperatists & Russians), they've been told (all conscripts, more Russians) to or even just to live another day (everyone). Most of these guys aren't Azov or Wagner psychopaths, they're men with families who would rather not be there. Remembering that is why I try to be as objective and unbiased as possible despite my inbuilt personal biases and why I won't shit sling with people about "orcs" or "hohols" etc.

Russian Telegram channels are reporting the AFU has evacuated Bakhmut and Wagner is in the process of taking it over. Once again, Russians are retreating forward while the AFU advance backward.
This is actually a bad thing for Russia, they had a great setup with Bakhmut in that it was causing Verdun level casualties for Ukraine, that entire thing was basically drafted straight from Falkenhayn's playbook. He created the conditions at Verdun not to take land but to bleed the French army of trained personnel. If Ukraine actually discontinued their attempts to hold this position it would probably be the first intelligent thing they've done in some time.

I'll wait to see what the truth is, but I think everyone can agree that Bakhmut has turned into WW1 trench slogging garbage that was a vortex of suffering.

This is called "the enemy of my enemy is my friend." China and India hate each other, but since Western hegemony is against them, they can cooperate with each other and Russia; plus, Russia and China are pushing French influence out of Africa, and Russia with Assad are fighting against the United States and "moderate rebels" in Syria, Ukraine is one of the scenes of more global events.

Getting routed from kyiv/kharkiv/lyman/kherson and losing ten times more men and material in mere months than the US and friends did in multiple middle eastern wars in decades - "Totally not a big deal and a glorious strategic feint and the numbers were all faked by the jews guiz"

Pissing away a mobilisation wave worth of conscripts and mothballed material away to theoretically take several whole neighborhoods in a strategically irrelevant town and russian cope channels pre-emptively declaring victory like they do every five minutes - "JEWKRAINE IS DOOMED! GLOBOHOMO HAS BEEN FOREVER DEFEATED!"

Also given your uh.....record...
...of calling events during this three day war I would probably wait and see before proudly and loudly declaring yet another glorious russian victory, but what do I know, i aint a seething cat troon.

One minute of googling has revealed that this person lives in germany and currently serves as "representetive of Heinrich Böll Foundation in Ukraine".
Another one minute of googling has revealed that Heinrich Böll Foundation is "legally independent political foundation. Affiliated with the German Green Party".
So he is an immigrant, who works for the foundatin wich has connection to the most leftist (in a bad sense of the word) party in germany, maybe in europe.

My point is- not sure if anyone has mentioned this ITT, but never never trust russian-speaking migrants when they start telling you something about russia. Russian immigrants unironically hate russian and its population. Im not defending any point of view here- but the trash you see in the pics are just examples. Im trying to figure out why though.
Was it hatred that gave them enough strengh to move so now they cant stop?
Or do they serve some political agenda and this is just another way of creating a "public opinion" that russians=nazis?
Or is he spewing general leftist propaganda like leftist in USA?
Or is he insane?

upd: Oh yeah, he is clearly pushing an agenda since at least 2013. Check out his "articles".

i keep hearing news that the US and EU keep throwing billions at Ukrine. what the fuck are they using that much money for?
Money laundering. Like let's be real, the reason most of the slavic shitholes are in the EU and NATO to begin with is to give people a "safe" place to do all their corruption in. Say what you will about the Balkans but at least they keep their corruption home grown, they don't actively import it.

The war gave them the perfect excuse to move large amounts of money around, amounts of money that probably won't be investigated years after the war is over, if ever.

Don't get me wrong, Russia's performance is completely unacceptable for what is suppose to be a "near-peer" military to the US and China but luckily for them Ukraine's military is even more retarded and corrupt, so the Russian military can more or less carve out small chunks of land every few days and it gives Politicians plenty of time to hide their dirty work.

Sounds like the divide is being drawn. How long before this comes to a head now we got lines in the sand?

Wasn’t it said laundering went on BEFORE this conflict?

He is already somewhat well-known here, the last time he spoke about how Russians are not familiar with street lights and asphalt. German globohomo breaks even the Russians.

Who knows? I would say at least a decade. We have returned to the Cold War with proxy wars, but the participants are shadows of themselves.

Those telegram accounts are wrong, btw. The Ukres are retreating units to replace them with more reserves while those units withdrawn are healing and recuperating their strenght.

You are mostly right, they are being replaced by fresh units, but those units are russian
Im just waiting to see how the western media and Ukranian goverment will spin this whole ordeal, like when azov surrendered in Mariupol or when not being able tor recover from a country wide blackout despite downing 900% of weapons targeted at them was some sort of victory on Putler
