I feel horrible for her and her family. She seems like a good person, generally speaking, however when people have unique lifestyles, they cannot expect other people to not have an opinion. Thus far she has taken all this attention on the chin quite well.
I don't know how I feel about her family being contacted, it seems like harassment for harassment's sake, however if people have a genuine concern for the health and wellness of her behavior then, that's all fine and good. If her relative's jobs are being contacted then that's just malicious and neither done in good faith or for a good laugh. It sort of exposes the people doing it as having an uncontrollable hateboner.
That said, if she is gonna be a hooker, at least be a good one. I would think she could be 3 stars just by not being a female version of Chris-Chan or Ahuviya.

He should be careful if he doesnt do research properly because hes an actual journalist. Not only that but if he actually goes on the radio and says that Nintendo wasnt standing up for her Nintendo could get quite feisty. Last thing Nintendo wants is mainstream news coverage of this but radio news is hardly mainstream. If Alison keeps feeding this narrative then Nintendo may throw her under a bus.
There was a study linked a few pages back that said there is a correlation between child porn and molestation but they cant say which happens first.

She was a sort of PR nightmare before, but could've been smoothed off with time, experience, and a supervisor that wasn't asleep at the fucking wheel/getting free handjobs.
The Rapp situation was such a disaster don't be surprised if there aren't further layoffs and internal restructuring at Treehouse, or even if Treehouse finds itself locked away again without any kind of wider PR rep in the corporation as a whole. She's not only screwed up her life, but effected others as well.
It's been clearly demonstrated, across the entire twitter account and elsewhere, that she does not read or understand her contract when signing for a large corporation. She has clearly demonstrated she cannot be trusted, nor properly understands the consequences of her actions based apparently on some form of blind ideology.
No large corporation in their right mind will willingly take on an individual that doesn't comprehend their contracts properly, or if they do, she will not be in any sort of public facing role and have a very close eye kept on her for an extended probationary period.
Her main marketable skill of being a community and PR Representative is now worth dust. As much as you chucklefucks crow on about how she'll figure out a way she'll come out of it alright. She will not and all by her own actions and behaviour.
PR people are watching this saga unfold with some disquiet, and they'll be letting their HR know not to hire a walking disaster zone out of sheer self preservation. Both for the brands they work for, and their own careers.
Sure, she could go work in porn as some have suggested. But she'd be a flavour of the week. She's quite plain looking and her career would be like Octomom's. One film and then the studio would drop her and four years on we'll all go "Oh yeaaaaaah, she did do that. Didn't she?"

Hateboners are common here but I think the reason we don't feel bad is because of:
- Child abuse advocacy
- The way she treats her husband
- Trying to paint herself a victim of an internet hate mob instead of quietly allowing herself to be dismissed
- There is strong evidence that months before gamergate started she was already warned about her behavior on twitter with the sjw shit.
- Then before she got into shit on twitter for stirring the pot on that videogame it turns out someone was already making moves to document her prostitution
- Despite already being warned and attracting attention to her twitter she was publicly camming for gifts on the same twitter she talked about her nintendo job
If I met rapp working at nintendo and discovered her and her husband were quietly prostitutes in a fair and loving relationship I would keep it to myself and maybe even think they were somewhat interesting people that's their business. But it's not anywhere near that simple.

If Alison was doing PR for a company like Microsoft or Sony (or even EA), this probably wouldn't have been as big of an issue. Would she still have gotten fired? Maybe. But given there was the whole blow up about Fire Emblem Fates' localization -or censorship, depending on your POV of the matter-, she was able to spin this as a narrative to make her look like a victim of harassment (even though she could've been smart and not engage. But you know, outrage is a drug to these hardcore SJW-y types) from the GamerGate crowd, and use that as a shield to flimsily protect herself.
Sure, Nintendo is hardly a spotless lamb in the halls of gaming history and they've done some questionably reprehensible things (like how they treated Gunpei Yokoi shortly before his death, or go watch the Gaming Historian's video about Nintendo vs. Blockbuster), but they were stuck in a classic "damned if they do, damned if they don't" scenario: Damned if they do fire Alison, because the SJWs won't shut up crying about 'muh soggy knees' and GooberGrape. Damned if they don't, because if word got out to the mainstream media that they employed a child porn advocate at their company for PR, that would potentially be a huge PR nightmare, especially with their only major AAA title this fiscal quarter coming out in a couple weeks. Which do you think they want more attention on?
