Russian Telegram channels are reporting the AFU has evacuated Bakhmut and Wagner is in the process of taking it over. Once again, Russians are retreating forward while the AFU advance backward.
This is incredibly premature. The Ukrainian Army has no reason to retreat out of entrenched positions atm since the M-3 and the H-32 are still firmly in their control. More likely the Wagner guys who aren't given maps have made some progress in Optyne to the South or the Bakhmutske industrial park to the North and think they've actually overrun the "city".

Besides, Bakhmut itself is bifurcated by a River. If the AFU needs to give up ground, they don't have to give up the entire city. Just half of it.

Sounds like the divide is being drawn. How long before this comes to a head now we got lines in the sand?
I suspect Russia's cozy relationship with China is also fueling the US and Europes all in push on supporting Ukraine. This war provides an opportunity to take Russia off the Geopolitical chess board. Which would be a huge coup as tensions with Xi's China continue to rise.

The statement that Bakhmut fell was in error, Russian Telegram channels are stating that Wagner has captured about 90% of Optyne.

Google translation:
"Prigozhin appointed Viktor Bout director of the Wagner Center: “I want to thank Yevgeny Prigozhin for the trust placed in me. Appointing me to the position of director of the Wagner Center is a great honor and no small responsibility. I will work tirelessly in this post, Petersburgers, I promise that our mutual cooperation with you will lead to mutual prosperity."

Viktor Bout is probably going to use his experience as an arms dealer to help funnel weapons around via Wagner.

Imagine caring so much about the 2 weeks to flatten the Kiev meme to fight about it for 5 pages lol.
It's obviously just a spergy pandemic-related meme, from one habbening to another current thing, which invariably take 2 weeks of sacrificing the populace to flatten the big bad enemy.
What is definitely needed here is some new perspectives by newly registered users who have fresh takes that are original and interesting. Come on newfags, show us what ya got!
I'll bet you a gorrillion dolladolla they don't have anything new to add

I'm just glad that Ukraine has stopped dominating every single newspaper/news show now and only seems to get a mention once a week. It's looking like the big fear of Ukraine simply becoming another war that slips into the background only for nobody to care until anything major happens has come true.

Good luck with your funding Zelensky but it's looking like you're fucked my dude.

The Biden administration is finalizing plans to send the Patriot missile defense system to Ukraine that could be announced as soon as this week, according to two US officials and a senior administration official.

The Pentagon’s plan still needs to be approved by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin before it is sent to President Joe Biden for his signature. The three officials told CNN that approval is expected.

Ukraine has been calling for the US to send the advanced long-range air defense system that is highly effective at intercepting ballistic and cruise missiles as it comes under a barrage of Russian missile and drone attacks that have destroyed key infrastructure across the country. It would be the most effective long-range defensive weapons system sent to the country and officials say it will help secure airspace for NATO nations in eastern Europe.

It would seem that the situation for the Hohols is more dire than we suspected

Once the plans are finalized, the Patriots are expected to ship quickly in the coming days and Ukrainians will be trained to use them at a US Army base in Grafenwoehr, Germany, officials said.

Ukraine has been asking for the system for months but the logistical challenges of delivering it and operating it are immense. Despite those obstacles, “the reality of what is going on the ground” led the administration to make the decision, the senior administration official told CNN, noting the continuing intense Russian missile barrages.

Unlike smaller air defense systems, Patriot missile batteries need much larger crews, requiring dozens of personnel to properly operate them. The training for Patriot missile batteries normally takes multiple months, a process the United States will now carry out under the pressure of near-daily aerial attacks from Russia.

Notice how these two statements completely contradict each other?

Why would you deploy an expensive and fragile weapons system into an active warzone when there's no one in theatre capable of operating it?

There will be no 'training of Ukrainians" (lol). NATO already has troops on the ground operating the more sophisticated weapons platforms, it's hardly a secret at this point. This deployment will be no different.

So we're about to see a US supplied weapons system manned by western 'security contractors' launch attacks against targets inside the Russian Federation.

This cope again. It's well established all the maintenance of this shit is being done in Poland, not Ukraine. When the Ukies break something they take it back there for fixing.

I find it strange that the hohols are in dire need of new air defense systems, according to them they are having no problem downing those innacurate missiles made with trash and chinese toys microchips, and those pesky drones are easily destroyed with kalashnikov and pistol rounds
And if we go by western and ukranian accounts, those intense Russian missile barrages will be over in a day or two, when Russia will completely run out of weapons.

>months of "logistical issues" stopping deployment, months of training time
Nah no way that we weren't training some ukies in poland for this, if any actual active American soldier died in Ukraine we'd be fucked. The west is already training some Ukrainian units, would make sense that we would have some guys prepped for this stuff.

The issue is not maintenance, never was, the issue is having actual trained personnel operating these systems.
It really does appear you do not possess a basic level of reading comprehension, given your previous "2 weeks to a month" debacle earlier. I suggest you consider retaking elementary school before posting on this thread.

No, I get that, and I call it delusional cope. There are no uniformed US troops fighting in Ukraine. That's a pretty bold claim and I am going to require some pretty convincing evidence.

That explains the lack of NAFO bots populating in the tweets about Ukraine, just early, the babylon bee tweet making fun of Zelenski had only 10/350 replies by them seething

Watch him double down and post an unrelated article in russian about how it was real in his mind

Don't reply to that disingenuous post about "uniformed services", an irrelevant distinction meant to misdirect.

Those are top results just from a four second Google search, although God knows the US military should send these uniformed degenerates to Ukraine so Russians can break a few ribs from laughter before annihilating them.

Two birds, one stone and all that.
