I hope she makes Chris change the locks so he can't get in.

I think he's selectively self critical because he's permitted to. If he got desperate enough, he'd start introspecting a lot more.
Like, I've observed Chris consider the possibility that he's unattractive once. Only once. He's tried pretty much everything he can think of to get a girlfriend. So he finally came around to consider the possibility that he might be ugly. Of course, he had an asspatter on hand to tell him that, not only is he not ugly, but rather that he's actually super beautiful, the most beautiful person the asspatter has ever seen!
Welp, that nipped that in the bud!
...Was that Anna?
Oh yeah. That really fucked with him. I mean, not too much, because he's got a warm bed to home to, so he can try not to think about it too much. His life wasn't very disrupted by the revelation. But emotionally, he realized that he was a giant asshole pepper spraying some random dude who was standing there. And on the topic of critiquing himself, you said once that he struggled to make sense within his world view the macing video, because it incontrovertibly shows his attack was unprovoked and that he was in fact the bad person. Has he arrived to a conclusion regarding it yet?
I could believe that.I think the resolution he's settled on is that he was artificially put into a highly stressful situation. Sega is his primary culprit. Sega put him in the situation where he was a scared wild animal in the woods, just lashing out at anything. If Chris drew that situation (and had any kind of artistic talent), he'd probably draw himself as being doe eyed.

...
Yes.

He'll kinda denigrate the Game Stop guy himself once in awhile, but I really don't think he believes that.
Immediately after the incident he had a few more blarms rants, but then it seemed to die away. Was any part of that him realizing that the whole blarms thing had led him down a dark path and he was better off avoiding it?
Isn't Barb less of an opponent (at least in Chris' eyes)? I mean, he yelled at Barb after "the worst weekend of his life," but he wouldn't raise the voice to the pickleman when he stole his girlfriend (that'd be hilarious, though). But he won't even let barb bully him out of tomgirl.
Barb can get Chris to do virtually everything by screaming and getting quasi-violent with him. (Or she could, back when she was less frail.) She couldn't get him to quit the tomgirl shit though.Isn't Barb less of an opponent (at least in Chris' eyes)? I'm just asking because I don't know (other than the anecdotes in the CWCki) about how big of a deterrent Barb can be.
Im surprised he didnt learn he could push her around after that. I wonder if she threatened suicide during that debacle. If she didnt then she didnt give enough of a shit about itBarb can get Chris to do virtually everything by screaming and getting quasi-violent with him. (Or she could, back when she was less frail.) Chris is such a spineless pussy, he'll back down if challenged on almost any of his beliefs... But he won't even let barb bully him out of tomgirl. That should tell you something about his sincerity.
No.Ah, but what if a cute boyfriend free girl were to want to date him but her only prerequisite condition for being his girlfriend was to give up the tomgirl lifestyle? She could put up with everything else, the laziness, the toy hoarding, the constant gaming, but that one thing he would have to let go.
Do you think his conviction might change if that scenario were a reality?
Now, he might nominally pretend to be a man. But at the same time constantly try to shoehorn his lesbian fetish into every corner of the relationship.
