That doesn't make a lot of sense given he said he cooks "to customer order". I didn't hear anything about the 20%, I thought he said he was hourly paid. No way would anyone be partnering in a cooking enterprise with him, especially given he hasn't had even an alleged cooking job for many years.
I know he said he starts anywhere between 11pm and 1am, yet in the same livestream he was streaming until 9.30 pm when Dee Dee said she had to go to bed to get up for work the next morning. He then said he needed to go to bed soon but needed a couple of hours to "wind down" before he'd be able to sleep, because he had to get up at 3am. The dude simply can't keep his lies straight in his head even for the duration of one livestream.

We know he has a Tim Hortons within walking distance of the condo as well. That would actually make sense with the timing of that livestream. Dee Dee heads off to bed and he gets ready for a job he's wisely trying to deflect attention from. While I normally would expect this scumbag to opt for an under the table payment job, I suspect this job is all about legitimacy leading up to his court cases.

Look at the last clip around 11:30 that’s where he mentioned not being paid hourly but getting 20% of the takes. Through his mumbles he said that he’s partners with whoever owns the restaurant but he still plans on having his own. He cooks according to a set menu.
I agree…he is full shit. That restaurant must not care about its reputation if they have hired him. I realize that the food industry as many other areas are suffering from a lack of employees. But you would think they would do their due diligence and check his background history.
All those responsibilities for a princely $9/hour. Sure he was going to be running that place. Lying piece of shit!
He proves his inability to chef every single time he cooks online. As for not having enough money....well that's a given. I'm always amazed that people can live in such a fantasy world they believe their own lies, and repeat them over and over to people even when constantly called out on them.
I can believe he got a job, because now that he's no longer being bankrolled by Chantal, he actually needs one. I could also believe that he is working in a restaurant. What kind of restaurant (fast food or other), and which position (there's nothing to rule him out working as a server, his English is fine when he wants it to be), are up for debate. And ignore whatever he claims to be making, because he always exaggerates his metrics.

I think if she did, she would have deleted that. While it's rough that she had to, otherwise she'd be inviting a bunch of nosey folks into her life to ask questions and possibly dig up unwelcome traumatic memories (and I love my fellow farmers, but we are nosey), she did the smart thing and DFE'd. Gives her mother one less inroad into her life. She's smarter and wiser than Mae will ever, ever be.
I always figured he was a dishwasher. He could still say he worked in a kitchen and would explain why he doesn't know anything.
For him, I think this is the "best" his life as been in terms of nice home, whatever. Mooching off women. Not having to deal with someone else's kids (I think that chick who died had a kid right?).
