I don't understand how her nuts and bolts background sets her up to be an intercompany relations person but her lefty kid who never grew up (but will gladly suck corporate cock) personal background will fit right in at the treehouse. Also, getting people to sign onto the third best selling game console in history is an extremely easy, "can't fail," job that anybody could probably do.


Also, I think GoW is getting rebooted now, rather than directly continued, so it makes sense for people to leave.

Turns out y most-played Switch game of 2022 that's actually one game and not some kind of collection was, to my surprise, Sega Ages Columns II. It's sobering. I never managed to beat more than about 15 of the 80 or whatever levels, even after turning the difficulty all the way down, using the stage select, and burning one continue after another. I can't get through the first five or so levels without dying. It took me less time to finish Puyo Puyo Tetris's story mode. It took me less time to 200% Cuphead. Maybe I have some kind of learning disability that makes me particularly shit at Columns, but to me, this is the hardest video game ever made.

Regarding Puyo, there's a whole community out there that's filled to the brim with autistic things like the "correct" way to play by building chains upon chains like some kind of fucking robot and if you do anything different, you're not playing it correctly. I wouldn't worry about that at all, just you do you. Eventually you'll find your own strategy and get the hang of it. I will say though that anything fever related is fucking retarded.

Columns, on the other hand, is a little easier than Puyo since you can also get chains diagonally. Try lining up a few next to the wall and then just try to match shit off of that so you're not filling up the bottom. It works for me all the time.

Don't mansplain my lived experience if you haven't played Columns 2 specifically.

I checked YouTube and found this WORLD RECORD run that ends on level 17 (out of 70)


whereas people will loop the max level of Columns I on Genesis for hours. tbh I'm still pretty bad but I think it's not just me, Columns 2 is brutal.
