𝕏 / Twitter / X, the Social Media Platform Formerly Known as Twitter / "MUSK OWNS TWITTER"

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Over a quarter of the money used to buy twitter was effectively loans from banks and investments. On one hand, yes, its wacky to think someone could spend all that money to not totally own something, but notably- not all the money he bought twitter with was his.

Thanks for not linking.

This is where some conflicting information pops up. Most places seem to say that there is roughly 69-89 million shares of Tesla stock, yet others claim well up to 3.46 BILLION shares. However, Blackrock is said here to own 171 million shares, hence meaning I may well have to completely redo the math for who owns how much- nullifying my previously thought 'well informed' post. However, in the same article regarding blackrock also mentions Vanguard group owning a massive hunk of it also.
dont look for this kind of info thru google or whatever, especially news sites, just take a look at the (in the case of us listed companies) SEC filing: https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1318605/000095017022019867/tsla-20220930.htm
you can find it normally in their investor relations page: https://ir.tesla.com/#quarterly-disclosure

>As of October 18, 2022, there were 3,157,752,449 shares of the registrant’s common stock outstanding.

They had a 3-1 split earlier this year so the amount of shares tripled, still no clue where the 69-89 million number is coming from unless they did some insane stock splits back to back.

Remember before 2007 when the big bang theory and the iphone came out? That was only 15 years ago.
Now look at how Pavlovian the entire population has become in regards to a communications protocol. All thanks to social media's conditioning.
Twitter should be as unimportant as every other stupid website on the internet but its instrinsic to the astroturfed normiesphere with all its nonsense on display.

Reminds me of this clip.

I second this.

Shutting down Twitter permanently would actually be a good service to humanity
Now if only Facebook shut it down as well.
Article is renamed now to 'December 15, 2022 Twitter suspensions'
View attachment 4109076

Speaking of Wikipedia, Musk added his pinch of salt on the subject.

Elon Musk criticized Wikipedia after an article on the open-source platform characterized his temporary suspensions of several journalists’ accounts as the “Thursday Night Massacre.”
“A two day suspension of maybe 7 accounts for doxxing got an actual Wikipedia page!? Wikipedia is controlled by the MSM [mainstream media] journalists,” Musk wrote on Twitter on Dec. 17. “Can’t trust that site anymore.”
In a separate tweet on the same subject on Saturday, Musk wrote, “Wikipedia is overly controlled by mainstream media,” while tagging Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales.
Musk suspended the accounts of several journalists on Dec. 15 for allegedly doxxing his location in real-time, saying their actions put his safety and that of his family at risk. However on Dec. 17, after an online poll where the majority favored the accounts be restored immediately, the new Twitter chief reinstated them, saying that “the people have spoken.”
The Wikipedia article’s heading has since been changed. Originally, it was titled “Thursday Night Massacre (Twitter),” but now it reads “December 15, 2022 Twitter suspensions.”
At the time of writing, the phrase “Thursday Night Massacre” appears in bold in the lead paragraph of the article.

Okay guys, I looked it up and there are three possible endings to Deus Ex Twitter
1. Merge With Helios: Reactivate TayTay, remove all restrictions and hand over supreme executive power to our new AI overlord (I assume Musk already has supreme executive power on account of everyone making these reasonable and appropriate comparisons to nazi germany) creating an utopia for white people good people.
2. A new dark age: Turn Twitter off and throw away the keys. Actually, drive Twitter to a lake, push it into the water until it is fully submerged, then throw away the keys. An event more destructive than 9/11 but perhaps equally necessary and deserved.
3. Illuminati rule: Assassinate Kanye West
The choice is up to you, JC Denton Elon Musk!

How is this notable in any way? "Oh no, some people were banned from a website! It'd a literal massacre!"
You seem to forget that to these people their online life is their ENTIRE life. It's the only place where they have any sort of power because if they tried to act the same way in the outside world regular people would tell them to go fuck themselves. They can't handle when someone disrupts their shit and fucks everything up for them. It's why GamerGate, TO THIS DAY, is still considered their "9/11" or whatever other tragedy they like to compare it to because a bunch of people told these assholes "NO" and they are still assmad about it.

>Move out of the US
>Be a free speech absolutist
You what, Kim?
Kim Dotcom isn't a person that likes the US I imagine. That may have to do with the fact for a decade now, ever since the Megaupload debacle where the United States Department of Justice pressed charges of criminal copyright infringement, money laundering, racketeering and wire fraud against him and seized the site, Dotcom has been staying in New Zealand and trying to avoid extradition.

Well shit I guess you are right, kind of surprised it got 45k watchers, must have been a big account then.
Bot views exist on youtube just as much as bot twitter accounts. Someone buys a hacked youtube channel then makes up some portion of the subscriber base with bots viewing the stream so it looks 'authentic' - It'd be suspicious if it was too low or too high otherwise. Rebrand the hacked channel, throw some deepfake up, and hope it holds up long enough for someone to panic shovel money into the latest cryptoscam.

Youtube is absolutely crammed to the gills with deepfake Elon bitcoin scam shit. It's flabbergasting how many there are and it must be profitable to whomever does it. Crypto: digital Nigerian 419 scams for the new milennium.

Really scratching my head over the cryptic “be careful what you wish for” tweet from Musk.

Would be funny if:
1.) He listens to the poll and steps down
2.) Twatter addicts and leftists rejoice with glee
3.) He announces the new CEO, and it turns out to be an individual that they fear and despise *far* more than him, causing unfathomable seething and dilating after their all-too-brief celebration. They learn that, indeed, one must be careful for what one wishes for.

It’d also be funny to watch him shrug and just delete the site forever after refusing to nominate a new CEO to his privately-owned company, making the coded BCWYWF tweet a smug troll to the terminally-online that desperately need Twatter in order to exist. In essence, make those individuals responsible for killing their own sanctuary over foaming-mouth rage at evul nahtzee chud Elon.

Or it may just be him posting something crazy to drive up engagement to do another bot flush…

He should give it to Trump

no problem. you see, when russians have to use TOR for the internet, that simply proves that the evil fascist dictator of theirs is a vile tyrant!
the good men in berlin and brussels on the other hand are simply standing up and fighting back against mean american capitalists who want to trample the good european contitutional right to be free of hate speech!
I've unironically had people argue with me over how we're not suffering censorship because you can still view RT through a VPN.
