Yeah looks like this week the nights are going to be single digits in Ameri-degrees. Days won't be too awful, but night will probably be uncomfy.Rev up those seatbelts -
I spend a fair amount of time in the San Luis Valley, which is opposite of Westcliffe in regards to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. The winters there are BRUTAL. As all of you know, the wind starts and does not stop, hurtling off the mountains at breakneck speed, and bringing along the cold and snow off of said mountains. There is no natural shelter from the cold and wind either. There is no firewood to gather, no buffalo shit to dry out, nothing. Man lives there by manmade means, if he wants comfort. Losing that big propane tank is going to hurt exponentially more with each passing day. Plumbing will freeze and burst, someone is going to get frostbite, and dead animals are going to litter that 35 acre manmade hellscape. In times like this, one would get help from neighbors and the rest of the community, but I think we all know how that will turn out. I'm rooting for the animals, but I don't have much hope for them. Their carcasses will be the beginning of the land healing itself once these fags leave.
This has to be the most fascinating train wreck on this site. Rick Tomlinson is my favorite individual pepperoni merchant, but my group award goes to these idiots.
And as an aside -
The stark beauty of that region is breathtaking. The harshness of the desert, the mountain backdrop, and a quiet that is so pervasive the only noise you hear is your own heartbeat. If you get the chance to visit south-central Colorado, do it. I think there are more recreational things to do on the west side of the Sangres, but the drive on the east side is top notch for scenery. I took this picture at the beginning of winter. This is the southernmost point of the Sangres.

We must ensure that people in 10,000 years find a copy of The Thing and a functioning player first. It is our duty to our far distant descendants, to warn them of the perils.Good news is that people might find Kevin in an iceblock 10 000 years from now and gaze at the scientific wonder that is the amhole.
Holy shit, I could barely get through two minutes of Part 4. Say "queer eliminationists" one more time and wonder aloud why no media company will touch your podcast.Local Archive of Part 4 of the radio series:

They're too cheap and I don't want Kevin or anyone to change to impress IRL people.I swear if TLC gets wind of this they better have a live studio audience.
Something something animal heat to stay warmBuckle up buckaroos
It will end like the final scene of The Shining, with a bunch of troonsicles.I don't think that Blue Rhino tank is going to last them very long at this rate.
As @Tiggletown noted, it won’t even be in the single degrees at night (that’s pretty normal and would not be cause for alarm). A lot of the state is looking at -30 to -50 wind chills in freedom degrees. For those unaware, -40 in freedom and -40 in gay homo Celsius are the same.Yeah looks like this week the nights are going to be single digits in Ameri-degrees. Days won't be too awful, but night will probably be uncomfy.
If you want some heart warming news, the vultures are going to have a bachelor party on top of that graveyard.God fucking damn it.
I just cant stop thinking about those poor alpacas. No doubt they are absolutely starving and probably spending all day standing at the border staring out onto the greener pastures but being unable to feed.
Now it’s going to get so cold.
Breaking my own heart here. Fuck you troons.
