Considering all the auto-androphilia out there with FTMs, it might be time to brand it autophilia, as it does not seem to be an exclusively male phenomenon.
From now on I dub these: Gynoautophilia, which now has cool acronym as GAP, and Androautophilia, which as AAP is like AARP but without the retirement.

How the fuck do you affirm gender anyway? My internal parts are woman, this isn't changing any time soon. I still don't get "feeling" gender. I can understand feeling bad BECAUSE I was excluded based on my gender, or recognizing when someone is extra polite because of it, or I'm chill in a space that is all my gender due to likely having similar socialization and can bring up topics easier, but there's no feeling, it's just there. It's like having 10 fingers: I know I do but I don't think about it or let it define my life.
@Cloacan Don't be so cynical: there's some things that sound simple but we can't even do if we wanted to. I can't tell you the exact science behind boners (lol) but something tells me that no matter what the estrogen will force it down due to testosterone needed to counter the anti-boners keeps them masculine (I mean, it doesn't do much anyway). They'll have to make due with viagra or forgo estrogen in favor of surgery only.
Besides, we have many cures and treatments for certain cancers, but not all. Cancer is so varied and complex genetically that you might be dealing with different beast even for the same body part. Curing 1 cancer = preventing/ending 1 disease. So it's a bigger task medically, boner cures are more like one or two problems compared to 300 with cancer.
