CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Presumably those who do check in find Yaniv's forum or Keffals' thread and see people are bullying "one of their own" because documenting what a tranny says and posts is considered bullying.

its funny, because by trying to shut down merely documentation and discussion about what they are talking seems to imply that they KNOW what they are talking is socially vile to anyone not terminally online.

centurylink is dogshit with their 911 call centers too. Most of their techs are union slobs who can't even bring up command prompt without calling support. It's not surprising to see them bow down to trannies. They're cowards in every aspect of technology.

So much troon faggotry in tech. We never should've stopped bullying the nerds.
The programmer socks idiots are a plague on humanity. Also the most convenient way for big tech to get "women in tech".
Slap some women clothes, a layer of makeup, HRT, and you're part of the great progressive revolution of female coders.

Kiwifarms lives rent free in trannies' heads to a genuinely insane degree. As far as I can tell they're all fed the lore that Kiwifarms is some wicked place where people collaborate to dox and harass trannies and nearly all of them take this lore as gospel instead of checking in to see what's up.

When you type in kiwifarms.net, your computer doesn't know what that means so it asks a Domain Name System (DNS) server if it can find out the IP address associated with kiwifarms.net. By default, your DNS server is almost always one managed by your ISP and they see every website you try to go to, then tell you how to get to it.
It seems a few ISPs have decided to stop bothering to find the address for the farms which stops people from getting it, this is a pretty radical thing to do.

You can change the DNS server to whatever you want and using a VPN usually uses the VPN provider's DNS server(s) which is why that mitigates the problem.
I know broken record, and all ..just how in the hell is this legal. wouldn't this be like a phone company deciding that they're going to drop calls whenever they want to.

I was with Centurylink for years because they were my only "high speed" option. They always claimed they didn't throttle or block sites but back when Grooveshark was still up a tech even confirmed that they were blocking it and had me switch to googles DNS. Recently was able to switch providers and I'm now glad I did. I use a vpn so it wouldn't have prevented me from coming here but the principle of the thing matters

I don't know where you're getting this information but VPNs cannot be used in any way to bypass a data cap. In fact, as far as I can tell there is no way to get around a data cap. A VPN simply encrypts your internet traffic, it does not change the fact that data is still being transmitted. Furthermore, VPNs actually increase the amount of data they use because of their encryption.
You can use VPN to bypass their throttling of tethering, and to bypass their throttling of video. Without it after a certain cap you're throttled down to 3G speeds for all data.

T-Mobile throttles video down to 2G speeds - 320p or 480p max - unless you pay extra monthly fee. Very annoying, as any page that has a Youtube embed on it drags everything down to 2G speeds. Imagine loading a KF video thread with 30 Youtube embeds at speeds that are just a few times greater than dialup.

With VPN you can get full speed minus deprioritization penalties.

This is quite disheartening to hear. I plan on switching to T-Mobile's cheap Connect Prepaid plans after my contract with xfinity mobile expires due to it's extreme affordability. I will probably still use them because they're the best option for my use-case, but this kind of sucks. If I'm not able to use a vpn to bypass their blocking I will be forced to shop around.
I think unless in rural/small town area where Verizon might be untouchable in service, T-Mobile is probably still the top choice.

My beef with Verizon, besides them being assholes who will bend you over for every penny because they know/knew how unrivaled in coverage their network was, is partly to do with how heavily locked-down their devices are, which T-Mobile, historically, had the opposite policy towards. They sold root-friendly versions of most all the top devices that other major carriers would not offer. They're not as liberal with that anymore, but still not as locked down as Verizon and AT&T.

Verizon-branded has long been the mark of death for anyone who wants to root a device.

Lol how and where? I need proof
I'm surprised he didn't link an article by Vordrak. Instead, here's some contorted logic:
reee mods are pedos reee.png
"Deleting CP and banning the people who posted it makes you the pedophile!"

Then why do you think he has an irrational hatred of farms out of nowhere?
Assuming they are a he/him, there's a lot of men the Farms make fun of, as well as a few FtM troons.

But given they're British, it's far more likely to just be Adrian Harrop, a gay GP so deep into TRA that he shares a thread with @Caroline Farrow - or someone much like him. Troons are, by definition, insane, but so are their handmaidens, and Harrop is what they'd call 'a nasty bit of work'. If the person behind this account is properly known to the Farms, he's easily the most likely candidate.

Whoever it is, they've been mentioned here at some point, even just in passing in a megathread. It's notable how, for all the community-minded sperging these assholes do, they only ever start to go after the Farms once they're on it. Even the small fry who lie about having a thread here only give a shit when a pile-on is occurring. None of them care until it's personal, then it's suddenly 24/7 REEEEEEEEing about the troon murders we do.

Surely complaining and/or switching providers for blocking sites is a lot easier in the UK, considering the compacted geography. And though TERF Island is wildly inconsistent on these issues, complaints might carry more weight. But then, I also believe that some of these decisions to block the Farms are being done by a random troon in programmer socks, and that like that one big company that blocked here for a day, for at least some of the companies, once other people in th find out via customer complaints it will be reversed. That might just me being optimistic about an exception that proved the rule, though.

that's at least a more coherent idea than the usual "because ED said so" that I usually hear

It's not a DNS block, they're null routing the farms subnet. So the retard explanation for @NyQuilninja would be more like if I ran a private roadway that purported to take you to Atlanta and you drove onto that roadway only to find that it abruptly ends and you've now driven off the edge of a cliff. Not because I couldn't build the roadway or find you a route to Atlanta, but because I think it's a shithole and nobody should go there.

The ISP has designated the farms as a shithole nobody should go to.

@Null yeah I know the forums are totally legal, should be accessible, dindu nuffin, etc. but have you considered bringing up some of your alternative domains with the assistance of the providers that passed the trial by fire and using them to proxy the site for bypassing lousy ISPs?

I received a response from CenturyLink that lumen( the same company) blocked kf due to their acceptable use policy.
Sadly they are the only fiber network in my area until Google fiber ramps up.
When I contacted support this is the answer I got:
We have check some information on your account here and we can't seem to find any blocks or any restrictions on this website. All of the other website are also working so there might be a maintenance or something going on.
It would be best to observe it for the meantime and if it still doesn't work, you can contact us back so we can reset the modem back to its default state and see if it will work at that time.
This was using the online chat so I don't know if this was a real person or shitty AI chatbot responding to me. I mentioned traceroute and showed them which router the connection stopped at but they didn't have anything to say about that.

This vendetta against Null won't even stop at closing the Farms down simply because it's whats keeping many of them from 41%.'ing. They will pursue him to the ends of the earth for his crimes.
Not only that, but they'll start attacking other sites too, just for sport.

This really seems like the work of a few trans techs with an ax to grind. People like that never like mirrors, so what this place does, calling them out, is their kryponite.

I have said this before and I will say it again. While the farms that has taken so much work and so much money and time to keep working is amazing and frankly a service to all, the offsites are where shit gets nebulous, and that's the vector you'll see moved on soon to shut this place down for good. Remember, they make their own rules.

All that said, I think it's important to not take this place all that seriously. I disagree that this forum is completely a "gossip site", having lurked it since 2015. This little hard fought patch of the internet is notable for it's notoriety, if nothing else. Yes you can say nigger here, but the ability to speak your mind on this forum is something rare, and worth keeping around.

I may disagree with you Null, but you are doing a service to everyone by keeping this place around. Semper Fi, brother.
