When this is over, all you mutts need to get your legislature to implement net neutrality legislation, rather than waiting for the FCC to make it an executive rule. That's the only way it will stick.

And while I'm wishing for impossible miracles, get them to repeal all that financial blacklisting malarkey. Like Sniffin' Joe said: no malarkey!

Interestingly, I have a server hosted in the States that can still resolve 1776 in the clear. It looks like the parent company is owned by the Dutch which may explain why that is.

ETA: But they're also peered with both Lumen and Aselion which doesn't make sense.

The people themselves were never Anti-War:
In the years after the September 11 attacks, Heaney and Rojas write, peace activism became “truly a mass movement”: From 2001 through 2006, there were at least six anti‐war demonstrations that drew more than 100,000 protestors, “including the largest internationally coordinated protest in all of human history” in February 2003.

The authors brought teams of researchers to most of the largest national protests from 2004 to 2010, and gathered reams of survey data from more than 10,000 respondents. Early on, they noticed substantial overlap between anti‐war agitation and affiliation with the Democratic Party. That “party‐movement synergy” helped the war opposition to expand dramatically during the administration of George W. Bush. The people that adopt these movements then abandon them when the political winds change are nothing but pious narcissists. They went to an Anti-War protest to be seen and get the feeling they were something special but once their man got into office, atrocities no longer became important.

I have it always on, and I rarely have it routed to the US. So I haven't noticed any outages until I turned it off.

I’ve always assumed it was also because the tech industry just tends to attract more awkward, autistic types who have a hard time socializing with people different to them. So not only do you have the people with severe mental issues, they also often form a very insular group where they’re only socializing with other people with severe mental issues.

That's wishful thinking that our legislator actually cares what their constituents want or wants to increase the citizen's freedom from censorship.
