CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
The call center people are just drones. Always talk to engineers. I went into Karen mode when my ISP thought I wouldn't mind some Internet issues. In the end they sent a technician for free who came over and said that the issue is not the Internet modem but something else and he called his co-workers and they changed some settings on their end. Suddenly the Internet worked fine. I also got a refund for a month.
The network engineers I know take pride in their work, even the troons (bless their souls), which overrides things like being offended.

And fixing issues like this is a technical challenge as well, so once the engineers are asked to fix it they will almost certainly find a workaround for the tranny fuckery that is going on.
Their job is finding workarounds for fuckery, the Internet is a mess under the hood.

Keep in mind this isn't about 'saying mean things about troons'. This is a concerted effort to bury the archive of their misdeeds.

If they were serious about 'exposing the horror of KF' they'd be out there pointing and hollering 'OH GOD LOOK WHAT THEY'RE DOING AT KF!'. Sunlight, disinfectant, etc.

They're well aware of the Streisand Effect and they've gotten burned already. I suspect this is a bit of opportunism (the holiday break) and another push (via Elliot's threats, which SHOULD be legally actionable) to get the site vzyali'd.

Also, if they succeed with KF, I can pretty much guarantee they'll come for other sites. And not small fry, either.

Mullvad's Luxembourg working for me, not many others on it would.

Also if a man called me at 6am and I actually answered, and they said they wanted to have a girl talk, I would have ended that call and gone back to sleep. Fuck off, Kermit.

If it matters, I can still see KF on clearnet. Don't want to get too specific, but it looks like Bell Canada (which is hop 10, but was too specific for my liking) is transiting via SprintLink for large parts of Leafland still. The perfidious Dutch also surprisingly come to our rescue--that second last hop is the Amsterdam Internet Exchange, which sounds vaguely familiar from some of the conversations we've had here--does KF have colo there?

Remains to be seen whether this stays live, I guess.

My VPN is hindering me from connecting to the farms on US servers. I tried Hong Kong with the same result.

I can connect fine with my VPN turned off.
Your best bet is to use a VPN with a Norwegian server.

After seeing this, I tried Norway and that is working currently, but I'd prefer it to work with a US server too.

Whats up with that?

PIA vpns holding up fine

Virgin ISP blackholing along with virgin mobile data and giffgaff mobile data.

I'll cause a fuss tomorrow but I suspect this is a blip due to an angry tronner above their station at the backbone

HAHAHA FUCK EUROFAGS YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE GUNS!!! WE HAVE FREE SPEECH! WE ARE A FREE COUNTRY! USA USA USA!

who is laughing now?
It sucks, but at least people aren't being carted off to jail because they visit the site which happens in the UK and why Germany and Austria are blocked from accessing the site without a VPN.

Is the story about Dong-Gone calling CEO wives at 6am actually true, or is that an exaggerated caricature? That seems far-fetched, and unlikely to work.

"Honey, some weirdo speaking in a falsetto voice called me while I was sleeping and told me you should go into the office and undermine your own network to block the following IP address, so do it immediately and don't worry about the effect on your company."

Someone mentioned that some canuck ISP had managed to route again earlier: https://ping.pe/103.114.191.1

And Terrahost has presence at AMSIX (which provides transit to KF).
