CenturyLink/Qwest/Layer3 blocks Kiwi Farms

I just tried proton via netherlands and it's working fine
Hmm well I’ve submitted a support ticket anyway.

Are you using ProtonVPN's DNS service? If not, what DNS service are you using? If you've not set a DNS service, that will be your ISP's. You can confirm with the nslookup in OP.
I can connect using my ISP’s DNS which is what I have been using with no issues (I’m a retard from Bongland too).

My connection looks like it is routed through Hirricane Electic’s network after it leaves my ISP’s

To be honest ProtonVPN has been an issue for a while.

TL;DR CenturyLink is an incompetent company that has roughly 1/4th the workforce it needs to operate, and won't do anything unless pressed to do something. They will rebutt, but will inevitably cave as long as pressure is continually applied. They're worse than you know, but incompetence is their issue, not malice.

Who knew "I want to speak to the manager" actually worked sometimes? Karens knew. Let them show us the way.
Karen's abuse the power, making every complaint to management look bad. However in situations like these, bitching is in order, however, not in a Walmart freakout way, but in stern letters and phone calls. T mobile is still working btw.

I know this doesnt help the tier one/ISP problem but this might be helpful for those looking for DNS setup. Set up a pihole (ad, tracking, bullshit telemetry DNS black hole) and go with a unbound setup. Instead of relying on any DNS service which could be cucked at any time due to complaints, you go straight to the authoritative name servers. At the point that authoritative name servers are blocking KF, then the internet is so fucked that we will probably be in gulags anyway at that point.

This is the same for me. Last night was able to use a NZ proton server and it was working. Now won't even ping. I think its best to only suggest working vpn servers in DMs because otherwise we're just giving away targets for the troon army spies lurking.

regular (non onion) domain still works via TOR ( or at least some TOR exit nodes)

I've had no issues getting to KF the past few days via mobile or laptop. The Nordics seem unaffected, despite Arelion/Telia being one of my upstreams.

Sure, but the point of the Kiwi Farms is for it to be publicly available. Having it hidden to the point where it can only be accessed by VPN is not public. If it stays off the CW for a considerable amount of time, it will probably die.
Agreed strategically. I know not addressed to me but as far as opsec and using VPNs I am only suggesting it as a temporary tactic.

A humble newb.

Also perhaps we shouldn't discuss working DNS servers in the forum or telegram channel - only in DM's ? Just my newbie two cents.
Why?

The looney troons know about the public DNS services as well, and even if somehow Cloudflare and Google both fuck up their DNS Services 4.2.2.2 will work forever (4.2.2.2 is actually run by level3..., ignore that)

Most likely, he has the NetShield option enabled for ProtonVPN.

I cannot access Kiwifarms using my ISP. I can access it using ProtonVPN with NetShield option turned off. I cannot access Kiwifarms using ProtonVPN with the NetShield option turned on.

You (and anyone else using ProtonVPN) should report it: https://protonvpn.com/support-form

It looks like it is server-side, looking at their code on Github there's nothing at least, so it's impossible to know what blacklists they use. I assume it's some custom shit.

edit: kiwifarms is not on any of the serious blacklists, so it must be some custom garbage they've cooked up.
