Dude is having a crisis over replacing a capture card and potentially upgrading to Windows 10. He always has these panic attack meltdowns whenever he's forced to put money back into the business but he'll gladly brag about buying Kat and xbox and new shoes just the other day. Total lunacy.

Not clicking that link, but can assure you he's 100% full of shit. For starters, his "legal" path that doesn't exist, does exist. Even if you take a completely blank computer; you install the Media Tool on a USB and plug it in, restart the PC, go into BIOS, tell it to boot from USB. It runs the Media Tool and you now have Windows 10 on your device. When Windows prompts you for a key, you can skip it, and Windows will still fully install. You'll even get the semi-annual security patches and what-not. The only problem is you'll have a watermark in the lower right corner asking you to buy a key. Don't be fooled by Microsoft's benevolence, while they allow you to use their product and will even support it without you paying; Windows 10 phones home a lot. So they know everything about you, more than they already did.

As for upgrading from Windows 8 to Windows 10; do 90% of what I said above, but instead of a fresh install, click the update version button. As long as the hardware specs support it (and they will, Windows 10 is lighter than , it'll update. Don't listen to the retard who couldn't identify a USB type.

I think that just the thought of having to set-up a completely fresh windows installation and get it ready for streaming is the only thing holding piggy back from buying a new rig.

If he wasn't so reprehensible and a complete retard; he probably could have an NZXT sponsorship, or at least work out a sweetheart deal. Them or try giving AsmonGold's PC company a try, heard decent things about them so far. I'm sure there's more, but those are the two off the top of my head that don't try to brand themselves as top of the line elite, but still have a focus on assisting people with out of the box stream solutions.

This sorta shit pisses me off, he's like it'll take to long but he'd have to get a computer eventually anyway and it makes sense to get a new one while your old set up is atleast functioning. But I seriously think he does not want a new PC, he atleast from my perspective turned down whales by saying "throwing money at it won't solve it".

And top of that he is for the fun of it buying shit Chinese capture cards, for what reason? He cries poor and even if he returns them its money out of pocket that he could use. The consoomer (and gin) spirit really took him tonight.

Personally I think his capture device just shat the bed after whatever many years of use and abuse. Of course DSP went about this minor inconvenience the most retarded way and continues to be exceptional about it because of his stubborn refusal to upgrade from Win8, arguably the worst recent Windows release.

Does he want a new PC? Yes, because he loves spending (especially money that isn't his).
Would the capture device dying be a good vector into it? No, it would be like him starting to beg for a new house because his shower don't work or a new car because the oil light went on...

It's just a convenient excuse to not do gameplay (essentially a extra day off) and to trawl the waters of the bay of gout for fresh whale meat.
