To be honest even without the presence of menopause or a condition like PCOS I don't think it's very uncommon for teenage girls and women to have a long hair or two or some peach fuzz on their faces. Online trans discourse has created this weird idea that you have to completely look like a stereotypical man or woman or else you have to question if you're cis or intersex if you deviate in any way.

I think I'm one of the few Kiwis who doesn't mind people trying new labels and identities on and I think questioning or exploring gender and sex in different ways is usually pretty healthy, but the Internet culture has taken nuance and diversity out of every topic they get their hands on.
I think it's fine for girls and women to try being boys sometimes if it helps them learn more about themselves, but this weird pressure that they have to shave and have to be hairless or else they're non-binary or transmen if they don't is complete bonkers and not healthy exploration. That's how you get people rushing into transitioning and regretting it later or feeling like they aren't allowed to be cis and straight just because their bodies are normal and don't look like a Barbie doll.
