I think my favorite game of the series is actually Metal Gear Rising, but of the main series Snake Eater is probably my favorite.
I hated MGS5.

I liked Rising until it got a second life because some YT fag did a LP of it and the memes became insufferable.

First, Rising is literally a meme machine unto itself of a game and I don't know what else you could have possibly expected, especially considering that it's been continually churning out memes since its heyday.

Second, tertiary fanmade content and multimedia about any given thing should never inherently sully your enjoyment of the original product, especially since it is entirely to your discretion to curtail your consumption of said content.

At least they weren't as obnoxious and retarded as they are now when the game came out and the memes were enjoyable since it was very self aware. But then in the past year I had to block several dozen channels posting Rising meme videos that aren't even funny or clever.

Probably because they go on and on about how similar he looks to Liquid and that he does actually does look blond in the briefing:

There's also a small scene at the end where Snake asks Naomi for scissors to cut his hair, which may add to the confusion.

A quick google search also taught me that next to nobody knows the difference between "blond" and "blonde" smh.

Yeah I assumed the scissors had something tl do with the confusion, but the color of the hair is both because the lighti is directly on top of Snake and to make kt ckear that it ks pretty long.

He is a natural blonde, at least in MGS1 and then it was retconned again back to brownish somewhere in MGS2 production. Pliskin was a blonde originally and if you look at his hair in MGS2 he has little bits of blonde in it. Twin Snakes removed it entirely.

Theyre still around, but now its all political spam burying whats left of it and the rest closed their channels. It should be illegal to make a review video and then EARRAPE YOUR FUCKING AUDIENCE out of nowhere because blasting your ear drums out and indirectly assaulting people is somehow funny until someone retaliates. Then it goes the way of slenderman.
