Because Zelensky has moved onto applying to join NATO. And getting really close with the nation that swings their dick around the most in NATO. The alliance that's spent much of their existence working to curb the influence of Russia on the world, short of wiping them off the map.
Even if it annoys them, it'd create the argument for Israelis that if Israel sided against Russia that it'd embolden them to help Israel's allies like Iran in an act of spite or to cause Russia to not help mediate disputes with Iran. If an Israeli politician wanted an edge in an election, it'd make sense for them to appeal to Israeli voters by saying they'd avoid antagonizing their allies that could help them deal with countries like Iran.
