Yes. Once again, a reminder for everyone:We've gone over this repeatedly.
The Alpaca's the tranch have are rescues. The local sheriff is not an expert in camelids. Unless he rolls up and sees the tranchers actively abusing the alpacas - like beating/maiming them - nothing will happen. The only way this happens is if a vet (or similar knowledgable person) makes the complaint and says "I have proof these alpaca are being starved".
If you feel compelled to contact law enforcement or animal rescue, you should feel compelled enough to do so without receiving upvotes.
Either do it or don't, but don't post about it, and don't be shocked if there's nothing to be done. Alpacas are cattle. Cattle are property. Sometimes property gets destroyed. The resources of bumfuck, nowhere probably do not extend to Alpacas.
