Honestly, I think you found something here. If I wanted to reach for an explanation, I would say that the event in June where he 'had the worst day of his life' was a confrontation between him and some family and he may have just be axed from the will or some such.

I am getting such Russell Greer vibes from that clip, now that you've put it in that context. Both Nick and Russell were raised in an intact, loving, Christian family who pushed them to behave according to a standard of morality they didn't personally hold. Vic likes them barely legal. All of his girlfriends are college-aged instathots (or look college-aged instathots), and our wife is like 20 years too old for gay pants man.

I maintain the real reason Vic didn't publically associate with Nick is because for most of Weeb Wars he tried to maintain a respectable appearance. That photo is part of a whole set with what seems to be the whole family. The father is happy or even laughing in every other photo no matter who it is with. Rekieta himself is absent from all of those photos other than being caught in the background of a group photo in the foreground.
