I have been looking into live viewer numbers and and i honestly believe they are pretty damn close to honest. This view was made even stronger because rumble has fewer viewers than youtube during trial streams. If they were doing some fudging of numbers they'd do it all the time.

As for video views... they are very sketchy to say the least. I have seen a 20k jump in video views within 10 minutes. That simply doesn't happen on streams.

Not sure. I think his live viewership for the Brooks trial was extremely strong for Rumble, but that was shortly after he was banned so potentially there would be a boost from that. But frankly, I'm not convinced of the extent to which the view counts for all these platforms are directly comparable, especially live viewer counts.

How much of a 3-hour stream do you have to watch for it to count as a "view"? For example, for Youtube, it's just 30 seconds. If you are watching a live stream and close the tab, how long does it take for you to be kicked out of the live viewer count? What if you pause it? There are no right or wrong answers to these questions. What would be most useful is a direct one-to-one comparison with Youtube numbers, but it's not fair to say that Youtube's subjective choices on view counts should be treated as the ground truth.

The Rumble live stream view counts are interesting now that Nick is turning off the Youtube streams. As far as I can tell, Nick has been averaging about 4-5k viewers each on Youtube and Rumble since he got his YT account back.

Nick's stream numbers have tended to peak midway through the first hour. I believe he's said that the peak is around 45 minutes. At 1:00:00 to 1:30:00 when he turns off the Youtube stream, his Rumble numbers goes up massively. I clicked through just to see what his numbers were like a couple days ago and he was just over 10k. So if Rumble counts live viewers the same way as Youtube, then we have to have some combination of either:

1. Close to 100% of Youtube viewers are crossing over to Rumble. I view this as unlikely since the Youtube comments were full of people complaining about Rumble when he came back to YT, but it's always possible.
2. Nick's numbers now peak later in the night even though he streams very late to begin with.

Now as far as I can tell from a quick search Youtube/Google does not publish any real definition of its "concurrent viewers" metric as it relates to live streams. It simply says "Concurrent viewers: The number of simultaneous viewers. Peak concurrent is the highest number of viewers during a live stream", which is vague as hell. There's no reason to think that Rumble's equivalent would be identical. It would be hard to replicate even if you really wanted to.

I know this is late- but I remember Rekieta talking to Barnes about a potential civil rights lawsuit against the Minnesota Lawyers Professional Responsibility commission or whatever. Why does he think they have changed their mind and want to investigate? So far they have rejected (rightfully) non-client complaints in a perfunctory fashion.

Is it a lack of awareness of the spiral, or is it obstinant refusal to acknowledge it as such and course correct?
