Nintendo Switch (Currently Plagued) - Here we shit post about the new Nintendo console, The Switch

It’s definitely a worthy successor to the first two games with good writing, and I highly recommend it. The normal difficulty is similar to Thousand Year Door, but there are optional badges you get at the start that make the game harder, along with cheats that can change difficulty in various ways.

And I don’t know if this is only for the PC version, but you can go into Options and change the button prompts to match basically any controller type, including Gamecube to really make it feel like TTYD2.
It will also play great on the Switch Pro which is coming out later this year.

Anyone played Bugs fables the paper mario clone?, the game seems good, but I barely see people talking about how the writing is compered to the old PM
Can concur on Bug Fables' goodness. The music deserves special mention - legit, one of the best vidya soundtracks I've heard in a good long while.

Oh, here's a fun one we all missed. Back in late November Nintendo and DeNA (a Japanese trashy phone game company) created an 80/20 joint venture, Nintendo Systems Co, Ltd., with the stated goal of "updating" Nintendo Accounts. Really makes you wonder when they are going to roll that out, I bet its Q2 2024 along with the new Switch.

Which one? There are three main characters, and none of them are faggots.
I haven't played it since it first came out but I'm pretty sure the beetle is the first character you control and leader of the team, so I'd consider him the main character.

Anyway, I can't remember the exact dialogue but he gets all blushy and nervous around another certain male beetle and says stuff like "he's precious to me", and rushes in to his defense in a very protective way. Definitely seemed pretty faggy to me but they weren't sucking each other's horns or anything so it wasn't overt.

I don’t remember anything like that, but I 100%’d the game and can assure you that he’s definitely not gay.

Is this the game that gets Level-5 back on its feet after it went insane and blew its one shot at being a pokemon rival by flooding the market with youkai watch?
The biggest joke to be had about Inazuma Eleven games is that they are the only games/series in the last 16 years that manage to do Pokemon better than Pokemon.

Think about it: instead of catching monsters, you catch middle schoolers. They each have four sets of moves you can learn and unlike Pokemon, each of those four moves can level up (through use) to level two, three, four or five depending on the type of move. And each time you level up the move, you get a new attack animation. It is literally everything Pokemon should have been 20 years ago.

@SSj_Ness You call me a luna?

Give me details. You even played Inazuma Eleven? Speak fren. Mods let me double-post he has to earn it.
No, I haven't. I wanna catch Pikachu, not a 14 year old. The gameplay is probably fine but otherwise the premise is sort of uninteresting.

I guess it probably has no trannies or fags at least, unlike modern Pokemon.

No joke, check it out. Inazuma Eleven is still around on the 3DS eShop until it implodes. And the sequels Firestorm and Blizzard (two versions of the same game, much like Pokemon with unique players and the sort) can still be found on Amazon. They are superior games. Give them a try if only because you want to play a new game. The fact that they leapfrog over Pokemon of the last 15 years is a total sidenote.

Play Inazuma Eleven today. The upcoming sequel looks excellent so far. Maybe @Vyse Inglebard can back this up. Or maybe he has never played the games and just loves me. Either way...

Imagine paying eight dollars for Galaga.

Does anyone else think the Arcade Archives line is insultingly overpriced? People complained for years about NES Virtual Console games costing too much at $5 each only for Nintendo to respond by ramping them up to $8 for their slightly different arcade ports. Then you’re expected to pay $8 for some of the most basic and frequently-ported games of all time like Pac-Man and Galaga, made even worse by the fact that the Switch already has a Namco Museum that includes these games.

At least there are some much larger SNK games and popular arcade games that never got home console ports like Tetris: The Grand Master, but most of these are borderline scams.

It was just last year that the Switch surpassed PS4's sales, which meant the Nintendo hybrid console was the fourth highest-selling console at the time of that report. When it launched in 2017, the Switch became a phenomenal success, combining a home system with mobile gaming, with a roster of titles, including standards such as Mario Kart. This was the win the Japanese company needed after 2012's Wii U proved to be a let-down. This was a shame, as the Wii U was a direct follow-up to the immensely popular Wii console but for some reason, the successor all but flopped.
Estimates show that the latter has sold more than 118.69 million units worldwide, while the former has just about passed that with a figure of 118.99. Given this, the Switch is now the third most successful games console of all time in terms of sales. A breakdown shows that nearly 50 million of these units have been sold in the US, around 30 million in Europe, 27.44 million in Japan, while 18.45 million is attributed to the rest of the world. The sales figures also take into account the Switch Lite and Switch OLED.

Also, I just found out that they’re making Pikmin 4, and I was just thinking like the old man that found a rare Moon Pie in a Kwik-E-Mart
