Sony hate thread

Please explain yourself. I thought the Xbox scratched discs.
Basically due to the retards at sony thinking that making your console textbook size thin was a good idea and that lead to the ribbon cable being exposed which is why it scratches discs.

FUCKING DAMNIT THE SLIM PS2 IS SCRATCHING DISCS AGAIN WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH SONYS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

SONY IS RAN BY NIGGERS
Sony is even worse now since they moved their base of operations to Silicon Valley and is no longer a Japanese company. Lot's of soy and pozzed changes will creep in. They already have actually.

Might wanna check your discs for a circular ring
Seems like some have it and other dont, I assume it is an accumulative thing, because the ones I played the most have a ring, tho it doesnt look deep enough to stop it from working, in fact my brother used my copy of SH3 not long ago and worked perfectly

To this day, I’m trying to figure out the odds as to how successful this TV show is going to be. I’ll be laughing to the bank if this gets Emmy nominations like it’s nothing.
we'll see, tv critics are just as shit as game journos, however the award circle isn't full hugo awards tier yet. so being "woke" and "diverse" doesn't automatically get you a 10/10 best series ever.
plus there's actual competition - turns out when you make movie games into tv series they have to actually compete with proper tv series.

Monolith Soft took a bunch of talented devs with them after Square almost bankrupt the company with their shitty Final Fantasy movie. Now Nintendo ironically has a better RPG franchise than Square does
Not just Monolith Soft. Square/Square Enix has been bleeding talent for years, most of whom go on to work for Nintendo or Nintendo affiliated developers. Monolith Soft is just one of the most famous examples because of the high profile success it later garnered. We cannot forget how the creator of Final Fantasy himself also walked away from the company, for example, or how the director of FF XV and Type-0, Hajime Tabata left Square Enix less than a month after being given his own studio.

And as for the talent that replaces those who left....

they're content to fleece the company of money while they can. Kinda fitting for the company as a whole, really.

The Walking Dead just ended, and the biggest question surrounding that show ended up being "So at what season did you finally give up?"

Zombie apocalypse entertainment got long in the tooth literally a decade ago. You could even argue that apocalypse fiction's getting to be in poor taste nowadays because, well, just look at the fuckin' state of the real world.

So who is this even for?

Retarded consoomers/Sony fanboys

The amount of co-workers that are excited for this because "like...the last of us was the best game story EVER!" is really disheartening.

And yes, they all followed TWD until the very end. (or not, I guess it's still got a shit ton of spin offs?)

It was shit. There are NES games with better stories and crazy twists. Even at the time, I wondered what the hell seemingly the entire internet saw in that shitty game, considering it came out in '14 and was just retreading The Walking Dead's ground.

I don't even know how that's possible. I thought I was a stalwart trooper for making it all the way through season 2, which was one episode's worth of content stretched across 13.

That's nothing, the biggest TLOU fanboy I work with? He hasn't even played the game.

He's bought both the original and the remaster, but he hasn't actually played them all the way through. He just watched playthroughs on Youtube.

These are the types of momo's this show is being made for, people who spend more time watching Twitch because it's trendy than actually playing games.

I will never, ever understand the kind of people who would prefer to watch someone else play a game than play it themselves. I understand following a streamer you like for the whole parasocial relationship thing, but not foregoing playing a game to watch someone else do it. Half the reason games are so satisfying is because you have to push through difficult and shitty parts yourself for your payoff.

There's exceptions though. If something is too hard and you give up but still want to see what happens, or the gameplay just sucks but you're interested in the story. I've watched a few FMV games played through without commentary for both of those reasons, for example.
