Ralph's life started imploding the same year that Jim got hit with canceraids, people asked why he was radio silent and made up theories like them somehow being friends despite Jim saying they never were several times over. When Jim got well enough to stream again the first thing he did was make fun of Ralph getting beaten up in Portugal, Ralph actually believed he had a special place in Jim's heart and got his heart broken, and here we are now.

Ralph took Jim's slights personally because Ralph was around during the rise of GamerGate and Jim and Jade getting together before Jim quit GG and took Jade with him. He doesn't really have anything to go on or any dirt to dump since the relationship between them and him really was that tenuous, so all he can really do is waffle between "UR WIFE'S A GREASY WHORE" (because Jade did lewd modelling 12 years ago) and "JIM I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!!
