RESET THE CLOCK 4/23/2016 FB - Phil put on invol psyche hold for threatening to commit suicide

My maths might be a bit off, to do actual serious damage from Mortin, an adult male would have to take 400mg per kg of body weight, and putting Phil (generously) at 200 pounds (90-ish kg) means that Phil would've had to have taken 180 tablets in a serious attempt on his life.
Which is nine packets of tablets, which (according to the Walmart website) would've cost $60.

Also, is there a law that prevents you from buying more than a few packets at a time in us? In the UK you can only buy 2 packets of painkillers at once.

Depends on what it is, mostly to keep people from making meth. Now theres something I would like to see, Phil tweaking.

The same here. Even things like Gravol are kept behind the counter, and I only realized that after a pharmacist was trying to deny me Gravol when I was sick.

Saying that, I don't see why ADF couldn't find someone with some ativan. Some doctors give that away like candy.

Weird, where do you live that attempts to regulate Gravol?? It's just a diphenhydramine (Benadryl) salt, nothing remotely dangerous in recommended dosages.

The US regulates purchase amounts for meth precursors like Sudafed, and Tylenol w/ Codeine isn't over-the-counter anymore, but there's zero laws regarding non-opiate painkillers like Tylenol or Motrin, no laws for Benadryl, and none for cough medicines that contain DXM. That means said Motrin PMs can be bought in any amount you want.

That said, Phil's supposed OD wouldn't have been from the Ibuprofen, it'd have been from the diphenhydramine added to the ibuprofen to make it "PM". It's a deleriant that is extremely potent at higher doses and WILL make you trip insanely hard if you take enough. It's not a "fun" trip though, you just hallucinate people/things that you can't distinguish from reality.

I don't think he tried to get high and mainly think that the suicide attempt, most likely for attention because he did it in a public place where he could receive help quickly, and around people.

People don't generally take a bunch of ibuprofen to get high.

Well, DXM is just a disassociative drug that they used to use as an anesthetic, its closer to ketamine than any hallucinogen. Taking enough it it will just anesthetize a person before they really trip any balls. But like you said, the possibility to choke and die on one's own vomit is definitely there. Besides that in the states it is almost always mixed with enough guaifenesin to make a person vomit if they try to get high from the DXM in the tablets or syrup. The only people who robotrip are stupid teenagers who are desperate to get high.

The effects you are describing are more akin to Dimethyltryptamine, aka the strongest hallucinogen known to man. I recommend DMT to anyone who wants to know what it is like to die. Those trips can range from euphoric to "oh my god I might actually be dead this time."

That being said, Phil doing DMT could only help the poor bastard, it forces a person to have a new perspective whether they like it or not.

This thread is turning into a drug education seminar. It's fascinating.

I bet Phil is one of those paranoid idiots who thinks that if you exceed the dose on the label by even half a pill, you'll have a heart attack and die immediately. I mean, yeah, technically taking three MotrinPM instead of two of them is an 'overdose' but that won't do you any harm. It won't even make you insensible. It'll just make you tired and maybe give you a bit of a tummyache if you took it on an empty stomach.

Canada. Regular Gravol is kept behind the counter as it gives a high in large doses. The ginger version is on the shelf, iirc.

I know it occurs naturally in many things, but don't you need a hook-up of some sort for DMT?

Phil's too chickenshit for a weed man. It's probably why he's resorting to Walgreen's highs.

I find the exchange between him and phoenix hilarious. "OMG I'M SO MARGINALIZED AND THREATENED THAT I MUST SHOW NO EMOTIONS!" it's like little kids when they are mad. Phil pretty much did this for attention but it backfired, I think he probably planned to use it in the rant he was going to put up a few weeks ago about how KF/GG/CIS drove him to this, what he didn't plan is for the police to end up arresting him.

It occurs naturally in Mimosa Hostilis root bark, and can be taken as Ahuyasca. That being said, DMT is not hard to extract, provided you have the correct materials and a basic know-how of chemistry.

There's absolutely no way that Phil could get his hands on such a thing, considering that he's not smart enough to know where to look, as Hostilis bark is harder to find these days than it used to be; there's no way he'd know which chemicals to use for extraction, and even if he did he'd have a hard time getting safe/useable equipment for it, and even if he did, he'd most likely fuck up the process and take it with a shitload of sodium hydroxide still in it.
