I'm using a delivery app, with contactless delivery, specifically because I don't want to engage with people either because I'm sick as a dog, and my throat sounds like the croaks of a freshly throat fucked babalyonian whore of hell, and feels about as good to talk, or just because if I wanted to talk to burnt out retards too incompetent to get a real job, I'd go to the liberal arts department of my local college. You have one job, you mouth-breathing reject, and that's to bring my food to me. I should not have to call you to guide you step by step to my door, and then, guess what, make contact to get my food.

I've had times where I give simple instructions "Fourth house on the left, look for red car of this make and model, window light will be on." only to have some daytime stripper named Starr try to call me because she's confused.

So, yeah, broken clock, but Dave's right. Do your job, and don't ask me to do it for you, since I've already tipped, since this app won't let me tip based on your performance.

There are valid reasons in the last couple pages why Phail is wrong. Being sick is not one of them.

If you don't want to talk to people then don't do things that have a chance that you'll end up having to talk to people. DSP lives in a gated community with piss poor directions since his address and house are located in two different places. DSP is absolutely wrong on this shit and that "burnt out retard" was highly likely genuinely confused about the directions and locations of the house and was doing the right thing by trying to contact DSP for help instead of just shrugging his shoulders and saying "not my problem" and leaving.

Oh, in Phil's case, 100%. I have no doubt whatever stupid shit he put in there was absolutely terrible. I just mean in general, hence me putting my own experience, and using being sick as an example. When it comes to Dave, I'd be shocked if he put anything further than 'come to my house'.

If y'all are going to sit here and tell me you think the majority of people driving for these companies have even a shred of intelligence or common sense to them, we're just not going to agree. I'm sure some reasonable people do, but if you're 30+ driving around delivering food, you're basically in the same boat as Phil.

Some people do DoorDash as a side job for when they're not working their main jobs, or because they need/want the extra cash.

They aren't hoping for critical acclaim Phil. They are hoping a hand full of assholes with spending problems like you, will play there game, and whale in it.

Also really telling, the guy with a phone full of useless jpegs, seething over players having the ability to resell their items for actual money irl. Are you mad square Enix is cashing in on crypto bros? Or are you mad that scopley dosent let you sell your duplicates and rare cards?

GPS is frequently wrong, especially in-app. Whenever I've used a delivery app it tell them to deliver to the laneway behind my building and the only times I ever have to clarify is when the people are solely using the in-app GPS. Also, the directions you give in app aren't a fucking route for them to take from the place, it's literally supposed to be hand off instructions. Why the hell would they read the directions BEFORE they follow the GPS route?

I'd say 95% of people I've seen working these jobs are immigrants using it as second or third jobs to afford the exorbitant costs of the city I live in, or even people who have lost their jobs or had hour cut backs, especially what with the whole pandemic thing and continued job losses.
