This, the game is as sublte as a brick to the face. Secondly, it's railroaded to hell and back with next to no wiggle room--Earthbound had just enough player choice to personalize the adventure but this is absent in 3 to such a degree that it might as well be a visual novel. I know the vast majority of Mother fans have been guzzling the poz kool aid long before tumblr was launched, but celebrating 3 as this champion of fan translation is a terrible idea that's only aged worse as the anti-lgbtp sentiment has begun picking up steam.

There are many similar comedic moments in the game for me to believe that what I said is the case. You believe Lucas was raped because you're looking for something to be mad at the game about (other than the supposed "commie propaganda" and the fans treating this game like the second coming of Christ).
I'm not interested in arguing this with you. This is 17 year old game and the only thing that you claimed that's somewhat believable is it having a pro-communist message.

Okay, fair point. But I really don’t think there’s supposed to be any deep tranny message here. In fact, I never even saw anyone make that comparison before a few years ago. The magypsies are meant to be weird supernatural beings who are beyond the plights of humanity; being “neither man nor woman” is only one of many strange things about them that’s mentioned once in passing and then never again.
As for being pro-commie, I always saw it as a nature vs. technology message. The main villain is a child from the 20th century who basically served as a demon’s right hand man before jumping around time and space for thousands of years. He’s a manchild who wants to bring stuff from his old life into this new world as evidenced by New Pork City, which of course would include things like money and technology. It’s also worth pointing out that the concept of money is never called out; greed and paranoia are, and money is used to emphasize those attributes, but they existed in people before the introduction of money. Actually, “nature vs. technology” isn’t the best description; it’s more like the video game equivalent of “the Industrial Revolution and its consequences have been a disaster for the human race”.
I’ve always thought the best “nature vs. technology” allegory in a game was Sonic CD. Robotnik takes over Little Planet with his robots and the bad future shows machinery and pollution destroying nature, but the good future shows that technology still exists, just in the form of clean energy, automatic watering systems, and other inventions that take care of nature and make it shine. It shows that the ideal situation is nature and technology working together instead of having to choose one or the other.
Granted, Itoi is absolutely a far left hippie, but I think a lot of it is just modern leftists seeing what they want to see in a Nintendo game written in the early 2000s for a system that was marketed almost exclusively to kids. “Bad things happen and also money is introduced, therefore the game is anti-capitalist”. “There are these weird supernatural things who are neither man nor woman (among many other things), therefore the game is uwu wholesome trans pride”.
