Also completely unhinged 'weekly' news segments that appear entirely randomly. It's a mood.Inside of you are two Youtubers, a PopHistorian and a Game Reviewer. Guess he makes whatever he likes so credit to him there I guess.
>what did the Romans think of the Jews?Only real historians eat chalk.
Apparently the Chinese didn't mind the jews to much.>what did the Romans think of the Jews?
I don't know if I could tell you specifically but I'm sure it's probably not too far removed from what the vast majority of everyone else who's ever interacted with the Jews has thought of them.
They're pretty jewish themselves.Apparently the Chinese didn't mind the news to much.
That's because they admire the Jews and want to emulate them and their financially successful stereotypes. They're pretty jewish themselves.
Liang Qichao, an influential revolutionary thinker of the time, took a tour of the United States and saw Jews as “the most powerful and influential group among the immigrants in America. I heard that four tenths of the American banks are Jewish, and more than half the bankers in America are Jewish…In this respect, no other races can compare with the Jews,” he wrote. Of course, he may have picked up that Jews were powerful and rich in the United States from an anti-Semitic comment, but like many other Chinese of the time, he did not see these stereotypes as negative, but looked upon them with curiosity.
It even goes back to the Kaifang Jews who were pretty prominent in the local mandrinate which is impressive. That's because they admire the Jews and want to emulate them and their financially successful stereotypes.
An Excerpt From The Article I Linked:
Essentially they became Jewaboos because they liked how they still dominated everything while being persecuted. This was happening as the Chinese were busy coping with the fact that the Western powers slammed their empire into the ground and their cultural arrogance didn't do them any favors when the country failed to modernize.
Essentially they became Jewaboos/Judaphiles because they liked how they still dominated everything while being persecuted (that's the conclusion they drew from what was said about them anyway). This was happening as the Chinese were busy coping with the fact that the Western powers slammed their empire into the ground and their cultural arrogance didn't do them any favors when the country failed to modernize.
Yeah there were Jews in China via the Silk Road that settled well before the European empires showed upIt even goes back to the Kaifang Jews who were pretty prominent in the local mandrinate which is impressive.
You are ABSOLUTELY right about that guy's channel. I've looked at a few of that guy's videos, and they're really well done. I think the best part for me is that he actually cites historical sources in the description when a lot of history channels don't do that.History Dose is a channel who's narrator pays his brother to make handmade art and backgrounds for the edits, at least in the modern videos where the production value sky-fucking-rocketed compared to the old stuff. Some of the video thumbnails, mostly the older ones, are clickbaity but they do deliver on the hook that reeled you in... usually. There are a couple duds but as I said, the newer videos are easily the best ones.
All these pop history and science videos are like this. The comments are all people saying they wish school taught this way, and that schools never teach any of the things in the videos. When in reality, either schools do (in theory) teach exactly that and they weren't paying attention, or it's interesting but ultimately useless trivia that would be an even bigger waste of time than school already is.
No surprises there.Apparently the Chinese didn't mind the jews to much.
I really hate to agree with that faggot but he makes a great point in this case.
A clock is right twice a day, I guess?I really hate to agree with that faggot but he makes a great point in this case.
He's really not wrong though, a lot of the federal overreach we're seeing today can trace it's roots back to the precedent set by Abe's expansions of federal power in order to fight his war. I'm not saying the CSA was justified or anything but I would agree that Abe opened a serious can of worms with his response to it.
Rageaholic made a video on Abraham Lincoln and how he's a big tyrant.
I think his Libertarianism is influencing his views a bit too much.
