Well, seems like Wagner isn't wasting time, they took the village of Opytnoe. Not a big settlement, but it is the doorway to Artemovsk (Bakhmut).

Not really, Ukrainian equivalent of vatnik is svidomit(свiдомит). Hohol is Russian word and if you call Ukrainian that way they will be very angy

It's good to see Wagner finally get a victory, especially since the Russian military itself recently denied Prigozhin's claims of taking control of Soledar.

Yeah, the word hohol is the equivalent of the word moskal, except the hohols get a lot more assmad about being called that.

Funny how every war in Ukraine results in tachankas and armored trains appearing. It's practically a tradition now.

Not sure how practical armored trains like that would be in a modern context, but it would really make sense to have a train car specifically designed to carry and fire SAMs in a WW3 context. Trains will always be high valued targets and are most vulnerable to air attack.

Yeah, I cannot imagine it would be used anywhere near the front. Most likely it's just to provide some cover and a mobile workshop for various logistics-related tasks, restoring rail lines, running supplies, etc. Still neat, and is definitely a part of local history there.

Most of its actually still in Ukrainian held territory...but it was, at one point, attacked from three sides by Russia, almost as if it was the actual main objective by Russia. Its probably safer now that the frontline has been pushed eastward and Russia no long threatens a pincer movement.

Not understanding why the zogbots are making a huge deal out of another meaningless cabinet shuffle that will not make the life of the average Ukrainian any easier, but just the opposite.

Surovikin, who is the current Commander of the Aerospace Forces, has completed his task to destroy Ukrainian infrastructure and is now serving as the deputy for Gerasimov, the current Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. Implication being that we're about to see a general offensive soon, rather than just air and missile strikes which Surovikin was responsible for.

In other words, beds in the bordello got shuffled around, but the client will still get fucked.
