Wenger got butt hurt that frog didnt want to show the campaign for Wengers fucking God awful Aldrake book when they were doing a big CG stream with a bunch of other people. He was even more butt hurt that frog and the other guest on the stream were subtlety laughing at it. Frog said later(paraphrasing) he didn't want to promote it because it looked like shit(which it did).

There is a lot to call out frog for on the Farms(trust me I have done it myself), but the Wenger thing isn't one of them. Frog may as have been able to handle the situation better, but Wenger didn't give him much room to do so(Wengers insistence on showing the campaign while on stream and then Wenger making the autistic video). Honestly I thought frog was in the right here by not just promoting any random shitty campaign just because the creator was CG.

Looks better than a NarZack book, just my opinion. and regardless if his book is shit the guy was entertaining, he made people laugh, got people watching streams, he even had a fun show with Ro, and that web Comics grifter I forget his name,who made porn comics the Margin man.
The quality of books was never the key selling point in cg in the beginning it was any one can make comics no one is gatekept, however keeping track of what and what not comicsgate is changes day by day depending on what side of the bed Ethan woke up on.

One of the things I regret most since dropping western comics for manga is to read Bakuman, a series about two teenagers who want to become the best manga creators. It's full of improbable situations and has a romantic subplot that might go some way to explain Japan's plummeting birthrate, but one thing it really convinced me of is the need for a team of level headed editors to wrangle the kind of narcissistic, maladjusted, autistic weirdos who want to do comics for a job.

Floppies make less and less sense even for the publishers who have the means to pump them out and distribute them. For self-publishing indie randos to cling to them as the holy format in the last decade or so is insanity. And useless nostalgia. Instalgiaty. Those with experience, who could gather a team and resources, should have gone with proper albums or graphic novels fron the start. People like Wenger should have gone with webcomics or doodles he posted on twitter or some shit, where commenters could post links to Proko videos for him.
