In general regards to the Bradley spewing from multiple people, the Bradley isn't a bad IFV, but it's not a Wunderwaffe that's going to completely change strategic outcomes. For some reason people think something needs to be either be the best vehicle of its class ever or it's a useless piece of shit. It also doesn't help the Bradley has a comedy movie made about it based of a single person's memoir and people take it like its gospel.

The Bradley is a decent IFV, decent at transporting troops in an armored vehicle and unloading those troops and still being able to stick around and provide fire support for those troops, but that alone doesn't make it a war winner and it certainly has it's issues like it being fucked if it's hit by an RPG-29 or other more modern RPGs (although that's basically intrinsic to anything that's not a MBT) and being bulky for an IFV.

And it's a hell of a lot better than the fucking M113.

One thing is that its effectiveness ENTIRELY relies on the crew, maintenance, and support it gets.

Driving four BIFV's straight at dug in positions just ends up in four flaming junk piles that smell of burnt pork.

Crew training, hell, operator training is something that matters and the old idea that you can just grab a farmer and give them a weapon and have them be effective is outdated by about a 100 years.

Potato-Goblins don't do well training with Americans to learn about American equipment because they don't fucking listen. They all think they're the hardest hardasses of all the hardasses and anything you tell them they don't have to pay attention.

I wholly expect them to lose anything they get to some drunken Russian retard with a vodka bottle shoved in his ass and pockets full of stolen potatoes because even though they came to the US for training, they didn't listen, and when they got back, their mentality of "I know better than the people who designed this thing that might as well be magic to me" kicked in and they somehow drove it backwards with the back door open and covered in napalm soaked cardboard.

I thought it also had an issue with track width being too narrow to perform well over boggy ground due to weight distribution, no?

Lots of western ground systems are also reliant on air superiority to perform at peak.

Don't get me wrong, for all the useless shit in the US arsenal, A-10's will absolutely fucking decimate enemy ground armour and emplacements but without that cover, piecemeal deployment and poor operators deployment of the Bradley's and Marder's isn't going to have much of an impact.

It's also a decent insight as to why the US keeps giving a hard NO to Abrams deployment, the holhols will definitely fuck that up.
