On a serious note: Paramedics and firefighters call for police if the area is know for being a shit area know for violence to paramedics or firefighters or there is something is suspected of being a serious nature for example: arson, deceased, drug lab explosion, people with metal health issues threatening harm to themselves or others or other shit similar to that.

Paramedics and firefighters do not have the same powers as police (Some wish they do though). The non-police emergency services do not have the tools nor powers to deal with violent people. I'm a trained firefighter I am not trained to deal with people having schitzo moments nor should I be. My role is to make sure there is no more fire and that no more fire can happen that's it (and some other things not relevant to the topic). Paramedics are somewhat trained to deal with mental health cases but not all especially the violent ones that's where the police come in.

If you hate all of the emergency services make sure to leave a massive note near your letterbox or doorstep there will be someone observant enough to see it. If you live in an area where there are a lot of volunteers (fyi: volunteers don't need to do shit and you can't force volunteers to do shit they don't want to do legally) I'm sure they would love to watch a house burn just to see how long it takes for training purposes.
