I've been thinking about what kind of person would become a trans butcher and yes yes I know, a psychopath is the obvious answer, but it's a certain breed of psycho that chills my blood. Trans butchers kind of operate like medically approved (used loosely) serial killers, but without the killing. They have their profiles, the profiles of their victims, and hell, they even display trophies. Everyone knows that there are many psychopaths in the medical/surgical field because they can cut into another person and feel nothing and saving lives makes them feel like a god, and serial killers take lives because that makes them feel like gods. Trans butchers are an awful blend of the two. From the perspective of a sadist, you can kill someone once, but you can torture someone indefinitely.

I honestly don't know what scares me more: the butchers doing this because they feel nothing towards other people and suffering doesn't bother them or that they do it because they like it and get off on the suffering.

I used to teach medical students at university. Mainly slightly insufferable but nice enough middle class kids. A good few idealistic save the world types. Around 2-3 out of every intake used to make my blood run cold, we used to joke they were the future surgeons or serial killers. Medicine attracts some very different personality types, not all of which are very nice. I eagerly await the day I see an ex student of mine in here
Edited to avoid double posting. Dilators can’t be in all day becasue of the length amd rigidity of them - it’d be really painful. The pessaries for prolapses aren’t the length of the vagina plus handle like a dilator is , they’re more a structural ‘point’ to hold things in. As a previous poster said more like a diaphragm. The dilators are long, it’d be extremely painful. Having said that, you could probably design something that could be worn all day without pain. Maybe. Anything used would need to be the whole length of the canal. That in itself would hurt. Amholes aren’t self cleaning as well so it could be a significant infection risk (especially with troon hygiene) and the tissue is also very fragile so it would be a higher risk of injury. There’s also nothing to hold the item in there - a vagina is a muscular structure that can almost be flat and still retain structure rather Than a gaping tunnel. Think of how (Sorry a little TMI) a tampon is held in place, they don’t fall out, becasue the structure keeps them there. There’s no analogous structure in an amhole. It’s just a sore tube drilled in.

In Spain they’ve stopped funding FTM surgeries because the complications are too numerous compared to the little benefit.

I reckon there’ll be more of this in the future, especially in public systems. It’s all well and good to support troons, right up until they drive up the tax bill for everyone.

(Funding and cost is always a football in public healthcare systems.)

I found that in the surgery subreddits, the folks who actually GOT the surgery seem to be the minority.

Most people there are folks who are looking to get one, and are always eager to gaslight new posters with a few selected pictures of halfway decent results and stories about “how a gyno can’t tell the difference” amazing sex life and full body orgasms.

It’s basically whole communities based around telling each other that the sky is green.

Triggernometry recently had an interesting guest on who studies psychopathy and interestingly enough a lot of doctors have many psychopathic traits, and he's interested in breaking that down by field. There are some beneficial psychopathic traits to those fields, he argues. Anyway, I was thinking about SRS surgeons the whole time I was listening and wished he had talked about plastic surgeons at least.

I believe now that they were dabbling with the idea of the urologist doing the vnectomy portion, I think to make lining up schedules easier with 2 surgeons instead of 3. He did one that didn’t go smoothly, and they reverted back to Weinstein and started having people book it as a standalone surgery. I get that plans will change, especially with a new program as they work out the details, but no one explained anything to me and I was left to flail around and try to figure it out on my own.

She somehow obtains the information that the surgeon had tried to save time/money by having a urologist perform a vaginectomy, and that things "didn't go smoothly." But she shows no concern about how, exactly, it "didn't go smoothly." Not just a lack of empathy here, but also a lack of self-preservation: wouldn't you want to know the details of how your surgeon fucked up? No concern about his apparent willingness to cut corners for the sake of convenience?

I know I am beating a dead horse, but the troon capacity for ignoring red flags is just stunning. A GRS surgeon could stride into a consulting room wearing a Nazi uniform and say "I am sorry I am late, ze American schwein are always trying to arrest me ven I fly here on ze plane from ze Argentina, ja?" and the troon would still go and post on Reddit about how nice the surgeon was and how much trust they have in his new technique.

There are people out there that really believe SRS gives you a real vagina. They think they're going to get multiple mind-blowing orgasms like a real woman.
