Frankly, cable management is always a struggle, and no matter what you do the final effect may be discouraging. From what I recall many YT such as Asmongold have a huge mess around their battlestations.

Asmongold just has a huge mess in his room. He doesn't think it's that bad either, and he usually has like 20 old cups in his room from fast food places. And speaking of, Asmon brought up DSP and Wings in his Velma video he did.

it's a lot less complicated than that, he realized when he started this interview talk he let his ego get the better of him and with out someone that will kiss his ass every step of the way and throw their audience at him, he'd look like a goofy fuck trying to craft organic lies on da fly and the internet doing what it does best and generally ignoring him because he's a fuckup that needs attention, he was gifted an ability to back out of his boastful claim that people could grill his piggy ass so he's doing just that.

The absolute seethe in this discussion is priceless. My take on this situation:

● DSP is a manbaby who wants undivided attention like the special momma's boy egotistical snowflake that he is;
● The parties involved are not "super important people that you (yes, YOU) should care about", but that is irrelevant if people are simply saying Destiny's way of doing interviews is bad, and I would agree. Two people are talking to each other for the purpose of entertaining their audience(small and dented as it may be), it's not appealing to see one of them barely paying attention because he's doing other stuff in the background;
● Phil used a reasonable argument for the wrong reasons;
● People reacting "disagree" to others complaining about Destiny are retarded faggots;
● Phil is even MORE in the right if he brought this issue up with Destiny and he declined the condition of not playing games in the background, although I expect that Phil just used his classic asshole move of just cutting ties with the person without saying anything about why.

I think the main thing is that he can't find anyone who's stupid enough to give him money for an interview (because let's be honest: that's what he really wants) that would essentially controlled by him. He would want to lead the interview, take softball questions, and basically get asspats mixed in with "he's so hard done by". Problem is, EVERYONE knows Phil is a fucking scumbag and liar by now. How long until Phil slips money to one of these interviewers saying "don't ask about 'x'"?
