True, but I was mainly referring to how that Jennie chick casually downplayed an actual shitshow. Like pointing out that the whole thing occurred "without incident" as if screaming at random strangers in public is something these assholes do all the time. And that the reader of the email would understand this completely, since it's actually super normal to derail peaceful intellectual discussions by flapping your bingo wings and crying about injustice.

It IS normal for the SJW degenerates to act like this. They use it as a tactic. If someone is speaking and they're saying something that SJWs don't like or counter to what the SJWs think then they scream, shout, and do anything they can to either drown out what that person is saying or draw attention away from the speaker. These people should be ashamed to call themselves "political activists". They're nothing but childish thugs throwing tantrums instead of using the tools of real activists. Tools like peaceful protest and rational debate.

Yes and only the nuttiest fringe of the left was like this in the past (specifically the latter half of the 20th C.) As misdirected as they were the campus and unionist Marxists of the Cold War era in the Anglosphere nevertheless engaged in debates. They had confidence in their ideology and would actually make attempts to put it in the public square and engage their ideological opponents.

Leftist identity politics (which is a mirror image of far right identity politics) coupled with the rise of post-modern thought (which commenced roughly in the 1960s and culminated in intersectional feminism in the 21st C) destroyed its intellectual base completely. Marxism and Classical Liberalism both grew out of the Enlightenment; both Marxists and Classical Liberals shared the Enlightenment belief that the application of reason can solve social problems. It was this common respect of reason that enabled Marxists and Liberals to debate each other inside and outside the academy.

Driven by the post-modern repudiation of reason the broad left embraced irrationalism in common with the fascism of WWII (which is also a form of identity politics). Like with fascism, when you abandon reason and embrace the language of identity politics debate becomes impossible. SJWs have nothing to debate that is why they never do debate. Just like with fascism identity is all that matters. So all that remains is shouting identity based labels: homophobe, transphobe, misogynist, rape apologist, white supremacist etc. The SJWs have totally destroyed public political discourse in the Anglosphere.

To be fair there is an element in the left specifically among some feminists and old-school Marxists that thoroughly reject the post-modern turn in ideology and explicitly state that an embrace of moral relativism and a repudiation of reason (two key aspects of post-modernism) make any sort of political advocacy incoherent and futile. But they are in a minority so we never hear them and consequently the entire left looks crazy.

It was honestly a lot of fun debating people with different ideologies in the 1970s and even the very early 1980s. Modern "activists" never look like they're having any fun at all.

Anyone here read Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals? I suspect Milo has.

A lot of successful politics has nothing whatsoever to do with reason or logic. It is getting your opponents to look ridiculous. It helps if they actually are ridiculous, as Trigglypuff is.

But it's really all in the presentation.

Let's just say that he thinks the X-Files are real and threw his support for the 9/11 truther "documentary" "Loose Change"; claims the moon landing is fake and thinks every tragedy in the US is a false flag.

And that's just scratching the surface.
