Russian military is that kid who opened his wrists then hopped into bathtub with depressing music playing.

From what I can see Ukraine will come out in better shape than Russia, whose population are willing to rebuild the small towns and infrastructure that can be repaired with help, resources and Ukrainians that will return to the stabilized nation.

Russia however lowered its replacement rate during the war with mass exodus, brain drain and entire families left to the west and most stay here instead of returning.
Only ones willing help with Russia are North Korea and China. Latter would love to get their hands on neglected resources.
This death by thousand cuts method is Russia's own fault, there is no coming back.
Russia was already teetering on the brink with weak ruble and birth rate of 1.5 where 2.1 is needed to replace the aging and poor elderly.
Infrastructure gets fixed in years, demographic changes are permanent.

Those annexed regions were ethnic Russian and culturally Russian so there isn't a big loss there.

I'm here to watch pro Russian crowd who think that this farce will fix Russia's problems, which it won't. Making ethnic tensions even worse, excluded from global economy.

You still assume that I'm a holhol, a Jew or a CIA agent. I am just a shit poster who will remind you that you of all people much like other self loathing Europeans and Americans who fanboy a police state.

My reason here? Russia fucked over kiwifarms, twice. One of last remaining free speech forums avaibile.

That being said I'll keep posting those field reports, effects on economy and effects of the war ITT just to provide infographics and see Russians explode in rage. This is a educating experience if anything, I don't know if you learned from this thread, but I certainly am.

Well actually Bogdan, I give a shit given that I used to live in Ukraine and have seen the lives of my friends turned upside down. I'd also like to see less refugees and cowards fucking up the market here, and don't appreciate paying for this war. If you're so keen to punish a country for being knowingly provoked into action (as predicted in 2007 cables), then why don't you get your fat ass to the nearest Ukr embassy and sign up to fight? Bulevardul Aviatorilor 24 is the closest to you I believe.

Funny enough, arguing with them was my favorite pastime in early 2000s. But it's pointless. Just beat them or shiv them. Or better yet, be a good citizen and call the cops on them. I'd simply prefer they GTFO inside their borders, even Russians deserve their homeland to be left alone and safe. Never bothered engaging with Russian dudes about Russia before this war cause there was no reason to.

I absolutely love this article. The man went into Russia and wrote about what he saw (and what he wrote is pretty much on point), but the comments are full of self-proclaimed experts who never left their mom's basement telling him how wrong he ACKSHUALLY is because they know better.

I didn't even know there were such a reports. Sanctions makes our life more difficult, but not like that. For a usual person, most notable changes were McDonalds and Cola renaming.
Morally, sanctions made the opposing effect.

I think he's referring to articles like this one or this one, the former being recent and the latter being from May. Even a cursory Google search produces dozens of them.
