"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Destiny doesn't have room temperature IQ unlike most political internet personalities from both sides. So even if he is a manlet with wrong opinions on almost every subject, he can hold a conversation like a normal person because he is smart enough to be able to try to think about what the other person is saying and actually refute those claims.

This was kinda fun, wish it was Metokur instead of Turkey Tom.
Destiny is really frustrating because he's not stupid and is often on the right track but somehow manages to come to the wrong conclusion. I'm aware that I'm implying my position is objectively right but this issue of his is best shown when he plays Devil's advocate. He shows that he can create consistent and logical arguments that the people he talks to can't really answer.

Good stream, got some lols out of Destiny's chat being hive minded but thats every streamer ig. I wasn't expecting them to be as cordial as they ended up being.

Someone said they were expecting a screaming match between null and destiny, outside of null getting heated on his own streams I've only ever heard him raise his voice once at ralph to burst out laughing after asking him if ralph thought he (ralph himself) was intelligent (to which ralph said yes and then promply yeeted Josh off the stream) or something very adjacent.
Pls, help me find the clip.

Tom seems like he's going to do a video on either the farms or gg as the origin of going after the "cancel culture". Man was fishing for info toward the end of the stream. Solid "B" for Jewsh
Meh, let him. He might actually do a decent job of it.
Whatever little is out there, is only journo level garbage.

No I am not retarded I am very smart

The stream was pretty good. I was expecting it to be a bit longer though.

I felt like Destiny had more interesting questions to ask Null about the forum´s history and culture and maybe some other lolcows. They will definitely talk again.
I hope Null can have this kind of talk with more people somehow. Explaining the KF position to different/bigger audiences seems to be the right move in a Total Retard War.

I don't listen to 'tiny so I was almost shocked by how utterly homosexual his voice sounds. Like what the fuck bro, do you mainline soylent straight into your scrotum?

We've had Medicare, Tom and Destiny. Which other people do you guys think would/you want to see talk to Josh?

Destiny for the most part wasn't cringe, except for pushing that doxxing is the takedown reason. And claiming Reddit doesn't strictly moderate this type of content. And strawmanning that Kiwis are 'obsessed'. I get on a couple of times a day to keep tabs on a few select retards, see if Boogie1488 has croaked yet, and that's it.

Great stream! This Tom dude didn't add much, but I enjoyed it a lot overall. Especially how you focused on the internet infrastructure/payment processing stuff which is where I think you have a unique perspective.
I think he was there to moderate if there was a need. But I disagree, I think his questions added depth to the discussion.

desTINY moment

it was funny to hear how destiny would run the forum though. feel free to try, buddy. I guarantee after less than a year of getting harassed by trannies, you will be calling them degenerate freaks of nature.
I took his stance is that he doesn't find it offensive and has a right to exist. If people want to take it down, via legal non-shitty means then they can do it. Null basically summed it up that to someone highly political neutrality is a heterodox belief unfriendly to the highly political. Destiny is at times trying to be neutral and when he's not being a faggot will entertain peoples ideas.

I took it as him saying he doesn't find it particularly bad. There are sites dedicated solely to doxing like that website Destiny calls Website Zero (Doxbin), monkey torture websites, and other shit. When asked how he would moderate a site like Kiwi Farms that's where Null and Destiny differed, Destiny finds doxing to be something hard to moderate and Null boiled down the real issue to be bruising someone's ego and damaging their reputation by archiving their behavior.

I think Null has a very easy to understand philosophy towards people's threads. There are people who get threads made about them that are literally vendettas and have been taken down because they asked nicely, and then there's autists who threaten to do shit as soon as their name and Kiwi Farms pops up. He'll lock threads if people are fucking with a cow for their own asspats.

I actually did have a question for @Null . Let's say some fat, child-support-avoiding piglet moves to some Mexican shithole and pisses off the Sinaola Cartel to the point where their are actual, credible threats to his life from the Sinaola Cartel. If said fat piglet did email you asking you to private the thread?
If a lolcow was actually being harassed and reached out, would you do it? The precedent would probably be bad unless you had actual proof, i.e. Ralph confusing the daughter of a cartel member for a whore and getting a Fatwah called on him.

My main thought regarding takedowns is the value of the thread, recentness, and its exclusivity. A ancient, dead, low value thread about a topic that only exists on the forum is the prime candidate for removal.

I like non-divisive talks like this, where people who don't know who we are might get a better understanding. I'm glad Josh got his "B" grade. The anti-social opponents were clearly identified without there being a spergout about their identity. Turkey Tom did great, I don't know what some people are on about. He shut up for the most part and added to the convo interesting parts. The best as you can hope in a supporting co-host. I wouldn't mind seeing him on MATI often.

I get that, but my hypothetical is what I kind of want to know. If someone is being threatened IRL and they ask for the thread to be privated or locked for say 2-3 weeks because their is a threat to there life from criminal elements and they want to try to lie low, would you?

Keffals isn't a scenario where I'd say they were threatened by criminal elements, even if I was being generous. He antagonized several communities and painted a target on his back and cried for attention.
When I mean actual threats I mean slashed tires, damage to the home, threatening notes and missing pets, and what not to the point where they start actively making their social presence zero.

EDIT: I know this is an outlier, but I wondered if it's happened/ if you've thought about it. I assume the first thing to tell is to call the cops.

I could see Null as a guest in a Painkiller Already episode (The show Wings of Redemption used to be part of).

They already had Destiny and Dick Masterson on the show multiple times. Last week they had Sam Hyde. Even Metokur was a guest years ago.

Their style is different and the show usually has 4 hours, so Null would have to adapt a little bit but i can see it happening.

About doxing:

Destiny initially seemed to think that Kiwifarms has a rule against some forms of doxing, like the posting of SSNs or credit card numbers. He was surprised when Null responded by saying that there aren't rules against this. Null continued, basically saying he doesn't want to litigate what counts as doxing and what kinds of information should be prohibited. He wants to be able to apply clear, binary rules to determine if a post is rule-breaking, but "doxing" is too fuzzy of a concept for this to work. So instead, Null deletes posts or bans users if he thinks their primary intent is to harm the lolcow.

I feel like Null could have clarified this a little bit better, and it's important since doxing is the main sticking-point for normal people who hear about KF's woes.
Null mentioned that most ""personal"" information about lolcows is obtained from the lolcows themselves oversharing on social media or from a Kiwi searching through publicly-available resources like VoterRecords or Whitepages. This is all 100% legal, and this is a point that should always be hammered. It's no different from how phonebooks used to be ubiquitous and would list not only the names & phone numbers of regular citizens, but often even their home addresses. Phonebooks were obviously never illegal, and I think they still exist in some places, although they've mostly been replaced by websites like Whitepages.

IMO, Destiny and other people - even if they acknowledge that "doxing" isn't actually illegal - get caught up on the idea of why someone would even post dox in the first place. They assume there must be nefarious intent. I think this is where the disconnect happens when they hear Null talk about how he allows doxing but will ban someone who seems to only be posting to harm a lolcow.

This gets into the sticky issue of "litigating" what counts as doxing. Sure, Null could ban obvious things like SSNs and credit cards... but this absolutely wouldn't satisfy KF's detractors. So what else should he ban to make the detractors happy?
  • Should homes addresses of lolcows be banned? And does it make a difference if the lolcow is a public figure (like a politician, etc) or has willingly posted their address on social media? What if it's done to prove that a lolcow is a lying scammer/grifter, as in the case of Ana Mardoll - who constantly begged on Twitter and claimed to be impoverished, but turned out to be living in an expensive house & working for a major defense contractor? Or as another example, how about the Tenacious Unicorn Ranch, who have been running a scam GoFundMe campaign ostensibly to "expand" their operation, but the truth is that they're abandoning their old property and moving back into the family home of their leader?
  • Should the real names of lolcows be banned? And again, does it make a difference if they're a public figure? What about if they're a convicted criminal? Should a trans person's "deadname" also be banned from posting as well? I'm sure someone like Bardfinn - a notoriously awful Reddit powermod - would love this. After all, a Kiwi went to a courthouse and (legally) obtained documents proving that Bardfinn is a convicted wifebeater & a deadbeat father who refuses to pay child support. People like Bardfinn commonly troon out or change their name in the first place in order to hide their criminal/unsavory past... should none of this be exposed?
I think you get my point: "doxing" is almost always legal and can serve a legitimate purpose. There's also different kinds of information which all get labelled as "dox", so if you want to litigate what information is allowed and what is prohibited, it'll get murky very quickly - especially if you want to provide exceptions for lolcows who are public figures, criminals, scammers, etc. This is likely why Null broadly allows doxing, but will individually crack down on users who he feels are being overly malicious.
