Something I don't think these people realize is that they are running double time as Rowling's marketing department and they have made the Harry Potter brand extremely relevant again. Before they turned her into public enemy number one I am willing to bet most people on here would not have cared at all about her books and the new game coming up. But now that they've spent years shitting and crying about her opinions under every tweet she makes--and getting their favorite outlets to run hit piece after hit piece on her--Hogwarts Legacy and the Harry Potter novels (from over a decade ago!) have gotten a ton of time in the spotlight.
Remember stonetoss? An entire subreddit devoted to people making edits of his comics telling him how much he sucks rocketed him to fame because they literally could not shut the fuck up with "stonetoss is a nazi" under any comic edit with his watermark edited out, basically advertising his website everywhere. The amogus meme gave him a ton of fame overnight and I recall he sold an amogus NFT for something like $135,000 worth of ETH. They don't even realize that they are the biggest supporters of their own worst enemies.

This is so lulzy for me. On the one hand, read another fucking book, but on the other hand, seethe, cope and dialate, troons! I'll never play it, I have zero interest in it. I've never read past the third book because I was like 10 when it came out, I wasn't reading that stuff in middle school. But it's funny that it's making the right people so mad.

Excellent for a first OP. I can see this being one of the biggest threads on the site in the coming months. Legacy is getting review bombed but it will still be one of the highest grossing games this year regardless of quality. This series was an anomaly when it came out, actually getting kids excited to read a book, even if it was about homo wizards.
She deserves respect for that, and double for calling out the religious right and later trannies. Both sides of the political spectrum hate her but as long as the check cashes she doesn't care.

More likely he's started to realise they'll never be happy with anything less than fawning servitude. I doubt he'll go the way of JK until American changes a lot on the topic but this like is entirely fair. I also think he saw the post essentially attacking her as a woman which if it was done by a woman to a woman would unquestionably be worthy of approval. However because it's a TRANS woman doing it to a CIS woman the advocates on social media don't have to look at it outside of that to know who's in the right and any facts to the contrary are transphobia.
