I do have something to really disagree with Destiny on. I think the Free Speech thing is disingenuous. Free Speech as an American Value is rarely ever spoken of in good faith, it's basically been chipped away at like any other Right. A lot of advocates for it basically get slandered and libeled by the corporate press to turn away from it because of shitty precedent protecting yellow journalists. I know a lot of boomers who get pissed at CNN and MSNBC for defining in a way that pisses them off.
I also think Destiny is a very typical type of person who doesn't believe something exists until it happens close enough to him. The Mr. Girl shit was going on for what? Like Three years? I think he's in enough Left Wing circles that he'll go with the zeitgeist there until they burn him enough.

It's cliche to say that the Right is more respect for the Bill of Rights then the Left, but a lot of times they do. Destiny pissed me off with that because it reminded me of some atheist trying to dunk on Christians by saying why can't he as some made up religion practice animal sacrifice in public if the 1st Amendment allows him to practice his religion.
I don't think Destiny is that smart, but he's fostered an audience and has a good self-preservation instinct.

He'll also believe anything if it comes from a study. No matter how obviously captured the institution of higher learning or science may be, he'll spread his brain folds for any jagoff in a white lab coat and clipboard who surveyed 500 people and came to the conclusion he already had, and we know he doesn't actually read the studies ever since Naked Ape embarrassed him on live stream.

The Right had their "fuck the rules" phase from the 60s to 2008. They just happened to be obsessed with decency, Christian values, and eliminating fun instead of the Left's obsession with anal sex, identity politics, and eliminating fun. Of the two of them, the Right tends to err more on the side of the Constitution, but both of them treat it like toilet paper.

Does anyone have the Ralphamania cover of the Sealab 2021 intro from the latest episode? It's catchy as fuck.
Since I couldn't get hold of an original mp3 I've decided make my own bootleg copy of the Ralphamania song.

The AI spat out an interesting blurb about Null.

There is a segment of the right that has always been sketchy on the first amendment, flag burning and Patriot act shit.

But Destiny is an actual libtard. He doesn't know anything really. He's an emotional liberal. He feels his way around issues. What's right, what's wrong.

The difference is that conservatives never questioned the value of the first amendment or free speech. Merely what boundaries it should have. There is an actual segment of the left that questions the value of free speech today.

From what I understood from a lot of people who actually call themselves Right Wingers, flag burning is more about how the flag is effectively a stand-in for the collective idea of the country. It represents you and the ideals the country has, burning it is basically spitting in the face of your family and God to them. To them you have a right to say it, but it's something that should never be done. Which is still a contradiction, but something I can understand. For any community to exist, something has to be sacred.

A lot of people on the left basically want a European style bureaucracy. They want something that can't be voted out and the power to basically destroy their opposition through legislation and an increasingly nihilistic law enforcement organ.
I don't know what it is about the current social climate that I really hate, but it feels like every Western community has been broken. You used to have people work within their community to make it better, but it feels like everyones at arms length.

Another show to suggest for Null to go on would be Matt and Blonde.

I’ve kind of stopped watching them, but they’re fairly articulate with a decent audience. Matt is famously a principled right-leankng fence sitter while Blonde is fairly hard right.

Only downside is it won’t exactly be exposure to people outside the population already sympathetic to the farms.

The upside is Null will have a good audience for his “Nick Fuentes is a fucker” spiel. It might piss Blonde and about half their audience off at first, since she’s generally been warm on Fuentes, but if that kind of messaging is important to Null, M&B have the right audience for it. Listeners tend to be adjacent to Groyper shit without being wholly gay for Nick.

For free speech to exist, the right to oppose the sacred or to address the taboo is necessary

The difference is the boundaries. At no point though, did the American right wing or the left in these discussions, question the value of free speech without government reprisal.

Two things have happened.

First, liberals have consolidated control around corporations. This has made them feel comfortable with what effectively is a coporate censorship by virtue of consolidated action like what has happened to the Farms. Another example is Twitter. The leaks indicate that the government was directing both Twitter censorship and amplification. This is censorship outsourcing from the government, and inherently opposite of the 1st amendment in the United States.

Second, in the last decade, studies of young liberals, especially college educated ones, have indicated a stunning level of contempt for freedom of expression. It has manifested in mandated services to homosexuals and troons in business, in cancelation of people from the public square. There is a wing of the left that now fundamentally questions the underlying principle at the heart of Western society.

It's not that the right hasn't reacted to this. There is growing skepticism toward liberal democracy, secularism, and free markets. This is due to the fundamental failure of institutions that are involved in these things failing to stand up and behave responsible. It is up to said institutions to earn the people's trust.

I hope we get a good cow interview with Josh from someone. As much as I liked the Destiny/Tom streams one in more of the vein of his stream with Jim would be fun. Just talking about lolcows. That would actually probably do more good for the site. Everyone loves looking at cows, even if they're super normie (why Turkey Tom gets a million plus views) and hearing that Kiwifarms just 'targets' people who are creepy pedos or grifters would probably make more people sympathetic than hearing abstract stories of some troon trying to censor some fringe site.

Destiny’s arguing style reminds me a youtube skeptic with a horrible Eastern European voice. I forget his name but he did the low iq version of what Destiny does: refuse to agree to anything unless your opponent has a “source”

This might sound reasonable. Until you see it in action. Destiny won’t talk about reddit banning people for wrongthink under the banner of transphobia. Even though it’s not hard to imagine. Purely because a source has not been given. About something that isn’t technical or scientific in any way and thus probably wasn’t expecting to need backing up.

It’s why Destiny never dodges the accusations of bad faith.

This skeptic would take it much further to the point where you couldn’t call him an annoying faggot without him demanding a specific instance of him being an annoying faggot.

I actually started watching MATI because DeadwingDork said something about "Josh's stream" offhand one time and I somehow figured out what he was referring to. That was also the last DeadwingDork stream I watched because it's just a worse MATI, and I realized I could just read the Farms directly.
