Ironically he's probably actually physically healthier than he would be if he were still on the outside.

I'd make a wild guess they probably pulled out most of his teeth and gave him dentures. Or he refused and they're as bad as always. I hope he got his teeth jerked out while conscious by some dude like the Nazi dentist in Marathon Man.

From what i heard on people recounting their experience, they only give you the bare minimum of medical care. Unless someone on the outside pays for his dentures or dental work, it's probably the same.

It's supposedly a little different if you're serving a long term. They'll eventually get around to it. I think they probably would have pulled out all his rotten teeth first and then maybe he'd wait a couple years for anything like dentures.
