I don't think the argument was so much that Tate isn't rich, but that he tends to exaggerate accomplishments. As well as specifically why he came to Romania.

I do have my reasons to doubt the HU numbers though. Which is that any Discord with 100,000 members is practically unreadable, no matter how many channels you split it into. I suspect he's doing some creative accounting, perhaps he's counting former members.
