Not even an uncommon take, which is hilarious

Check out this video from Boy Boy (featuring famous YouTuber I Did A Thing) where they lick the boots of the North Korean government

In a country of 300 million, there’s going to be some deaths of people in police custody. You hardly need a PHD in sociology to grasp this.

Some of them may even be because of overzealous policing, as rare as that is.

But you really need to be as mouthbreathing retard to believe that American police is worse than cops in an average third world country.

Nevermind a communist police state where you can go to a labor camp for years just because a cop is looking for a bribe and chose you.

There's a "hobby drama" sub that I keep bookmarked because you occasionally get a good writeup.
Their writeups are very hit and miss, in my experience. At first I found the writeups pretty informative and entertaining, and then I read the blatantly misinformed shit they had to say about Gamergate so now I'm wondering how much of their other writeups I've read have been similarly editorialized.

Isn't I Did A Thing the guy that invited lizards into his filthy home because he had a cockroach problem?
He also made a video about a robot designed to stop school shootings and used it to shoot pictures of cartoon kids. His video made it look like the guntuber he was working with, Brandon Herrera, was the one doing it until Herrera released his footage showing IDAT and William "I dox people who leave troll comments" Osmund were the ones shooting the kids. In short:

Most Reddit atheists don't know theology PERIOD. They think a book originally written in ancient Hebrew and first century Greek is going to have the same thing (in languages where definitions can get up to six different things per word) translated in 1600s English, with a lot less definitions for a given word. Why do you think they want to cite Old Testament (Jewish) laws to attack New Testament (Christian) people? These people are FAR less intelligent than they think they are. They're mentally stuck at fourteen years old, if most of them aren't already.
A guy I know is exactly like this. He is a /r/atheism poster but also argues exactly like one IRL. He was unironically arguing that "everything you know about your religion is wrong" while simultaneously not having once opened up the Bible to read it.

How is he so confident in his beliefs? He's read a theology textbook. That's it, and now he's a perfect expert on Christianity and how it's all a lie and evil, etc.

It's not just ignorance, it's deliberate ignorance, and it is peak midwit behavior. Scary thing is though, he is probably one of the most educated Redditors.

How would anyone know there is no God?
That's the issue with a lot of atheists. The question of whether or not such a being exists is beyond our ability to understand. It's like asking what colour you would see on the outside of the universe.

I seem to remember that Dawkins wrote The God Delusion deliberately without doing any research into Christian theology, which is obviously a retarded thing to do. It's like they're proud of their ignorance.
This is why I like Chris Hitchens. He had a deep understanding of the theologies he was criticising and wasn't afraid to own up to a lack of knowledge. His willingness to understand is what gave his criticism so much weight and authority. It no doubt helped that he had a brother who was his opposite in so many ways.

Christopher Hitchens isn't well-liked on reddit, probably for all the same reasons.

quick rundown on elevatorgate? was it not about dawkins himself?
Some guy hit on a chick while they were alone in an elevator at a skeptic convention. She felt cornered and vulnerable because they were in a confined space with no immediate way of escape, and mentioned the encounter to some of her friends. Normal people might say 'Oh I see her point of view and that's probably something to be more sensitive about when you're out taming strange, but I'm sure it was unintentional and never would have occurred to him that the setting they were in might have made her feel uncomfortable because men generally don't need to worry about being randomly stranger-raped'., but because skeptics are insufferable faggots who are obsessed with feeling objectively and provably right about everything, the entire community took sides and split into rabid, seething factions and tore each other to pieces.

Dawkins took a side, I forget which one, but that's pretty much the sum of his involvement.

so pretty much a textbook #metoo style attempt at character assasinating some dude over nothing? fits what i remember reading about it years ago, only thing i got mixed up about was that dawkins himself wasn't actually the primary target

No, not at all, it was a very minor misunderstanding that the original two settled amicably, but the screeching autistic masses that make up the skeptic community couldn't agree on whether it's okay to hit on people in an elevator and who was officially In The Wrong, so they launched a gigantic autistic war and tried to ruin each others lives for having the Wrong Opinion about it.

an Aussie that is obsessed with American politics

Imagine getting bent out of shape because of the policies of a country you don't even live in. Reminds me of the Americans who would melt down over Brexit for no articulable reason. It's like the most gay thing in the universe.

I think it was spiders cause hes Aussie, an Aussie that is obsessed with American politics, but an Aussie nonetheless
Yeah I rewatched the video and he said spiders, but he films several dead cockroaches inside his house. It was even nastier than I remember, that dude's got issues 🇦🇺

anyway, thread tax so I don't sperg endlessly about some youtuber:

It's literally the only sub left i check somewhat regularly ever since japancirclejerk got mod-cucked and i agree. The sub is shit tier compared to its early days when it was about genuinly interesting niche hobby stuff, now niggers are posting about Eurovision and fucking Disneyland, with a healthy dose of poor wahmen and troons almost always completly unrelated to the topic thrown in for good measure.

LMAO pot growers have been making these to filter indoor grows for years. Corsi-Rosenthal box? My nigga that's a Cheech-Chong box.
I didn't even think of that lmao. Been seeing more and more niggers parrot the corsi-rosenthal term like it means anything real. Some retard really can just tape 5 off the shelf items together that people have been taping together potentially for decades and suddenly they're a world famous inventor 2 years later.

Thoughts on r/stupidpol? It's one of the few sane left-wing subbreddits I've seen, which isn't saying much.
It's one of the more decent places to shitpost about politics for sure since they don't ban you for wrongthink outside of what is necessary to keep the sub from getting banned. They had some mod drama involving a covid doomer mod who went nuts but idk too much about it. I don't really post there but there are actual interesting takes posted sometimes and that one mod who's like an ex-army stimulant addict is... interesting.

IDK what kind of content we could farm from there though, are there any lolcows that post there?

I love "Corsi-Rosenthal" because it implies it took two people working together to invent this thing.

It’s really peak Reddit.

The name sounds like some kind of a theoretical physics deal. (“Corsi-Rosenthal paradox” “C-R radiation”)

But its actually just a couple of off the shelf items nigger rigged together with duct tape.

How fitting for a site where everyone thinks they’re smarter than they are.
