the airline refused him service, and he most likely broke some TOS which wont entitle him to a refund. If the airline allows him to still fly, he should be able to buy another ticket on the next flight, or he may have to switch to a different airline.

I think he will be SOL. Airlines get pissy when your drunken antics cause a two hour delay on a international flight.

But if for some reason they decide to let him rebook his flight he has to decide if he will continue on to his budget Tony Soprano vacay to grift in front of the colosseum or be a groveling little bitch and chase after Pantsu to take him back.

Given their financial situation Ralph can’t afford to reschedule and rebook their trip. He either begs the airline to let him get on the next flight solo and get a few days in Rome, or beg his wife to go back to Mexico.

Unless he’s passed out on a bench he’s now paying for two, maybe 3, hotel rooms and will be until he sulks back to his third world Airbnb rental. (I wouldn’t be surprised if the trip to Rome had something to do with needing to vacate the latest Mexican rental by Feb 1.) Either way he’s burning through money he doesn’t have.

He had a hair trigger before he went on his 8? 9? day bender, if he sobered up even a little bit he'd be likely to spontaneously explode over the littlest thing.
