I have re-read this 3 times and I still can't grasp how he hasn't starved to death.

(Slight PL, I have a close relative who is an RD/CDN- a dietitian with an actual degree) Underneath all of the flab and fat, Ethan is little more than a skeleton. He has no muscle mass to speak of, probably none of note since puberty ended. The constant alcohol binging is giving him little more than a constant stream of sugar for energy, I guarantee you he's not getting anywhere near a decent level of nutrients outside of salt. The fat stores from when he used to eat actual food have some nutrients stored in them, so his body is burning the fat to release those, all while bogged down by the alcohol. He's basically living in a permanent keto flu on top of the hangover, I can't imagine how horrifying his liver looks.

I haven't quite seen a thread where the Trashfire flair is justified but fuck me this is Trashfire^2.

As much as people don't like her for being a vapid retard, I hope May did manage to escape the gunt. Her life has been absolute hell since she shacked up with him, and the only real escapes she has is if he dies, or if she actually managed to get away
