Disagree, but your point does have some validity. The same model of weight gain while on exogenous hormones has been demonstrated in women on birth control due to the anti-androgenic effects of birth control. Along with that, men with low testosterone have demonstrated the exact same result.
Weight gain on HRT can begin once anti-androgens or a GnRH agonist are deployed as without normal endogenous levels of testosterone as the held muscle mass is no longer able to be maintained lacking androgens. Hypothyroidal females and hypogonadal males have this exact same issue as they do not produce a level of endogenous testosterone to maintain skeletal muscle. This will significantly reduce calorie expenditure.
Saying that HRT causes weight gain is perfectly rational; your eating habits won't change in time and you will end up gaining weight.
Lucas has always been fat though.
