Glad we're discussing the west texas investors club appearance, the whole episode was a trip. If I didn't know Jack, I probably would've thought they gave him the villain edit in the show. In fact, it gave us and the uninformed a complete look at who he really is:
- Being completely in over his head when he's expected to be competent in a cooking competition
- Pretending to be god's gift on earth when he's shown some attention
- Letting people help him and finish what he was meant to complete on his own
- Acting as a giant petulant man-baby and crying when confronted about his intentions on the show
- Deflecting and using his mother's death (and lying) to manipulate the hosts
Years later and nothing has changed much for him, aside from the fact that's down some more brain cells and an arm.
