This is what most likely happened:

There’s no precedent for Meigh refusing to be in a picture. There IS a precedent for Ralph pretending everything is fine after a relationship blew up.

There are also multiple pictures now where the reflection in Ralph’s sunglasses show he’s sitting at an empty table. Not definitive, no, but I think there’s weight to the idea that Meigh isn’t with him.
