Nick was raised Catholic but the Racketeers go to some wishy washy non-denominational thing, or they just watch it on tv. I'm assuming he switched for Kayla, but it could be they went to this place because Catholicism was cramping their style, and was probably closer to their house.
SO, Kiwi may have already figured much of this out but the Internet loves repetition... so I will go forth.
Also, these are PUBLICLY AVAILABLE docs. I spent less than 40 min on this. Church groups keep a lot on their websites. So, LOCAL DUMMIES, keep sperging - lol.
So, yes, Nick was raised Catholic. His parents still seem to contribute to the local Catholic church as of 8 years ago.

He's got a lot to say about religion here
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TO0nYpUA4lw&list=PLJdwBXWZFqz6Xber9R0y0hM3x8n03xCqa. He throws a lot of shade on Mormons and entertains the idea that Mary was raped. So, wow, there's that. Remember when Nick was open-minded and INTERESTING? Also, he's clearly converted to Lutheranism (Norweigen thing, for Kayla- it's not a secret). (Sorry, guys, I suck at clipping. The vid is a slog but it's all there.)
In Spicer/Willmar, he is part of a Lutheran crowd that genuinely does good works
https://lcmwillmar.wixsite.com/lutherancampusminist. He was once (maybe still is) on the Board. This is from 2017/18. (I'd post the link for the flier for this info but the personal info on it.)
Kids probably go here for camp - he whines about the pick ups/drop offs
https://www.gllm.org/summer-camp.html - it's a pan-Lutheran thing. Checks out bc there are limited cabins and he's bitched about that.
That leaves the question of which Lutheran church. There are three to choose from:
Green Lake looks way too tiny and odd.
Vinje seems too progressive.
That leaves
https://faithspicer.org/ . I'm guessing it's that. Despite homeschooling they want their kids socialized and this Church is a force.
Random nothing but this amused me:
Edit: A few. Boomering here.
